WATCH: Angry Virginia Town Shuts Down Obama’s Plan to House Illegals

Since President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder started allowing illegal immigrants to flow across the border and demanded that we put them up in housing, the country – especially the border states – has been in an uproar.
Arizona is even suing Obama for the right to protect their own border with Mexico.
Sarah Palin says that Obama “orchestrated” this humanitarian crisis below our border as a ploy to funnel illegal immigrants into our country (who tend to overwhelmingly vote Democrat, coincidentally). And it doesn’t look like the influx is going to stop any time soon.

Even though an overwhelming majority of Americans believe we should be deporting more illegal immigrants because of the immense strain they place on the American economy, healthcare system, and workforce, the Obama administration has continued to blatantly ignore the voice of the people. Well, guess what? Some American towns just aren’t going to put up with it anymore.
The feds wanted to use public buildings in a Virginia town to dump illegal immigrants, but the townspeople stood up and emphatically told them “no,” forcing federal officials to apologize for the plan.
CBS News reports:
More than 47,000 children, primarily from Central America, have been apprehended at the Mexican border since the start of the budget year.
The government put the Lawrenceville program on hold after a private agreement between officials from the now-shuttered St. Paul’s College and the government became public.
Officials with the Administration for Children and Families have declined repeated requests by The Associated Press to outline the Lawrenceville shelter plan.
Local officials demanded answers this week and the government brought in a half dozen officials to explain the purpose of the program to local residents.
During the meeting, one federal official after another apologized for the missteps.
Essie Workie, a regional official with an HHS agency overseeing the shelter program, was the first to apologize for the “communication challenges.” She quickly added, “But we are here to correct that.”
The officials faced a formidable task before a crowd that openly scoffed at portions of the presentation.
Workie assured them, however, that the plan to shelter the students at St. Paul’s would be withdrawn if the government could not win over local residents.
The fact that the federal government thinks it can just swoop into our towns and drop off thousands of illegal immigrants is utterly absurd. This Virginia town was absolutely right to stand up for themselves here, and they’ve set a wonderful example for the rest of the country. We can’t just sit back and let the federal government walk all over us – because if we don’t resist, we won’t even recognize our country in a few years.
