He can say what he wants, but until it passes the House, its not law. So keep the pressure on your CONGRESSMAN. The Senate is not going to budge.

Before the Easter break, the House promised they would not pass any guest worker Bill.

Keep calling, faxing, emailing your Congressman. The House is our best bet to beat this Bill.

Oh I really cannot wait (not). It is just going to be more rhetoric. We are a nation of immigrants, the economy needs them, they are just good people looking for a better life, it is impossible to deport 12 million people, etc. blah-blah-blah

He'll be telling us what is good for us because we don't know any better.
I really don't think this guy has a clue that his conservative base would run him out of town on a rail if they could! Amazing!

I think he might regret making this speech.

If he spends the whole time talking about comprehensive reform (Code amnesty) then his numbers will go down even more. If he talks about security but makes half hearted attempts to secure the border and punish employers, then it will be worse than if he made no attempt at all.

So, if he opens his mouth and starts talking about those hard working honest illegal backbone of America immigrants...then I am off to the movie channel.
