No, he ruled that DACA 2012 would continue in effect, based on the Jeh Johnson 3 year renewal of 2014, because it was a program already in effect, already in motion, a program that people were already relying on in good faith, and of a much smaller scope than the much more expansive DACA Expansion and DAPA which were not yet implemented. The DACA memorandum of 2014 was the renewal of DACA 2012. By ordering it to continue as renewed, Hanen said quite clearly that this portion of the DACA Renewal of 2014 was valid and therefore upheld the 3 year 2014 DACA Renewal. He ordered an injunction to stop the DACA Expansion and DAPA programs and also ordered the DACA 2012 renewals of work permits be cut back to 2 years instead of 3 year work permits, except for the some 36,000 3 year permits that had already been mailed out. It's a 95 plus page ruling, very detailed, very explicit, all of which was upheld by 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court.

You can't word smith or twist the facts to bail Trump out of the mess he has created for himself with his broken promise.
FACTS: there is nothing that prevents President Donald Trump from ending DACA at anytime he so chooses. Trump has broken his promise to "immediately" end DACA after his election. Those are the actual facts and all the other information you're using in an attempt to obfuscate those simple facts is just wasted energy.
Trump has weaseled himself into a very dark hole on DACA and any attempt to make excuses for his actions on the program is a lost cause."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

MW, you've made yourself clear that you hate Trump no matter what he does or when he does it. If he'd ended DACA day one and been sued 1,000 times over for violating a court order and been hit with a restraining order, you'd be beating him up for rushing it.
I would like to point out to you that your flagrant posting against Trump makes our forum look anti-Trump giving him no pause or reason to meet our demands, since even if he does, you aren't going to appreciate it anyway and will continue to call him a dishonorable betrayer of the American People for the next 3 years. You seem to miss the whole concept of lobbying which is what our organization is supposed to be. To lobby, you coax, inform, convince and remain close and in return for doing what you would like them to do you assure them of your support. You're doing the complete opposite. Unless someone in a political position sees some gain for doing what you want them to do, they will generally ignore you and do what they want or would have done without your input.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

ALIPAC's retraction of his endorsement was for the very reason I'm furious with him. He broke his immigration related promise not to support or encourage an illegal immigrant amnesty. The quickest way for anyone operating as a politican to lose the trust of his supporters is to promise them one thing to get elected but then give them the exact opposite. That is exactly what Trump has done. Some may even go as far as say he deliberately decieved the American people to illicit favor.
Sorry, I'm not a very good cheerleader. I'll give credit when and where it is due, but I will not offer excuses or provide cover for someone that decieved me in order to get something from me (my vote).
A supporter I may be, but I refuse to be labeled a blind follower."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

I hope you choose to vote for someone else in 2020 so I'm spared reading your "day one" "broken promises" wounded bird comments. If you voted for Trump the "narcissist" solely on ending DACA then that was a most displaced uninformed vote in my opinion.

NW is absolutely correct! Trump has broken many important campaign promises and proven himself a liar by doing so.
Now he says "We Love Dreamers" !?!?! How could anyone here at ALIPAC defend such a comment. Trump's We Love Dreamers comment is as repugnant as Jeb Bush's claim that illegal immigration was "an act of love"
If Trump had said "We Love Dreamers" anytime prior to November of 2017 he would not be the current President of the United States.
Anyone continuing to blindly support or chearlead for Trump after this comment is clearly putting the idolation of Trump before the issues that made Trump win with voters like us.

The question was asked in the midst of religious leaders immediately following a prayer at a session announcing the National Day of Prayer for victims of Hurricane Harvey. He said "we love the dreamers, we love everyone."
I've not read anyone posting any defense or even a comment on the statement except those attacking the statement.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
