We need to put a halt to illegal immigration.
U.S. Border Control is working to accomplish that.

--Congressman Lamar Smith, Texas

Dear Steve:

The Bush Administration has put together a target list of Senators it wants to drag over to the dark side -- open borders; mass immigration; and, amnesty for all.

Ever wonder why a slick politician like President Bush would dare to defy 85% of the voters or ignore popularity ratings that have plunged to depths never seen before? It's because we really don't matter to him. He has bigger plans that don't include us.

The long term goal is the gradual transfer of America's national sovereignty over to a new North American Union, a supranational government ranging from the north pole to the tip of South America -- President Bush's utopian dream of a world without borders.

But all his dreams are about to go up in smoke if he cannot pass the Bush-Kennedy Amnesty bill or, as I like to call it, the Benedict Arnold bill because this treachery surpasses even that historical landmark.

The Republican Party has identified the following Senators as wafflers, so they are have targetted them. And if they have targetted them, so should we.

Some, like Kay Bailey Hutchison, have already given indictions she is moving in our direction.

Don't be deceived. She is just trying to up the ante on what she can get from the White House, which is so desperate, it would give away the Crawford Ranch to get the votes it needs.

Please call or fax these Senator's office telling them that the new, enlarged bill is even worse than the previous bill. Tell them the amendments don't mean a thing - they're nothing more than putting lipstick on a pig! Vote NO on cloture. Vote NO on any bills offered by the open borders gang.

Tell them that if they feel compelled to fix the problem, they should introduce the Senate version of the "enforcement only" King-Smith Secure Borders First Act that is being introduced in the House of Representatives.

Thank you so much for all your good work and for your support of our efforts to stop this outrageous amnesty for uncounted tens of millions of illegal aliens.
