Mere chance that MATT, a non-profit group whose sole purpose seems to be cross border cooperation between Mexico and America, and organization that WANTS TO BREAK DOWN BARRIERS just happens to lead me right to NAIPN! I don't think it is chance, and I would venture to say tracking down the funding of MATT would raise some SERIOUS EYEBROWS in the National Press. I want to explore and investigate this further, and if anyone here is up to a treasure hunt, private message me and lets start SEARCHING and see what we can find.
Pinto Bean, outstanding work. We will do whatever we can to help. Send us PM's and let us know. Let the games begin.

This guy and MATT are slick...he postures himself and MATT as not being pro-illegal, but PRO SOLUTION, yet if you read his site, it's all about legalization, and VIP access to AMerica for Mexico and it's citizens.

He did make one interesting admission in one of his TV interviews...he said Mexico has not created a job in Mexico in TEN YEARS

Just a couple of more pieces to this ever growing puzzle I am trying to unravel.

    1. Loinel Sosa stands to get rich off running this Non-profit. It works like this...Lionel Sosa conveniently started a new ad agency called (you will love this) Media Amexica and said agency was given the CONTRACTS to run the publicity/ad campaigns for MATT.org

Now, so far this campaign has three prongs, the first one the release of the site back in May with a budget to advertise it of up to FIVE MILLION dollars. Mr Sosa's standard fees are 15 percent, so do the math.

    2. In a speech delivered by Ken Mehlman on June 22 of this year, he spoke at some length about Lionel Sosa.

    Website's goal: cross-border dialogue

...Founders want the site -- MATT.org, for ''Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together'' -- to be ''a people's think tank,'' a place where users can pinpoint problems at the grass roots level and devise new solutions.

''We're joined at the Rio Grande, and we're going to be joined forever. So why can't we work together to solve our problems?'' said co-founder Lionel Sosa, who unveiled the site before a group of Harvard social scientists on Friday, Cinco de Mayo.

''Up until now, the main reason for Cinco de Mayo was to sell more beer,'' said Sosa, who is also founder of the largest Hispanic advertising agency in the United States. ``But now there's a real reason for Cinco de Mayo to be celebrated in the U.S. this year, and that's to bring people together.''

The idea for MATT.org was born last year over dinner and cigars in San Antonio, Texas, where a dozen Mexican-American businessmen met to brainstorm alternatives for a cross-border networking group, Sosa said.

Current events soon overtook that plan, as immigration rallies erupted across the country.

Yet for all the simmering tensions that the protests exposed, they also unleashed the vast, untapped energy of a broader Mexican and bicultural community in the U.S., Sosa said.

'We thought, `Let's go after that first, and the business part will come later,' '' Sosa recalled. ``Let's take that energy that's on the streets and put it somewhere that's productive.''

As a result, MATT.org's dozen wealthy Mexican-American benefactors

-- whom Sosa declined to identify, saying even he didn't know all their names --

have funded a $3 million media campaign to run TV, radio, print, bus and billboard ads across four states until July 4.....
Stupid is as stupid does....... follow the law and if the lawmakers can't, then we need to boot them out of office..........
