Dont bother calling your senators, this thing is guaranteed passage in the senate because George allen, santorum and burns "NO" votes are gone and replaced with the YES votes of Bob Casey and others.

The senate immigration bill actually made a net gain because of a few senators that were against it, lost re-election bid and this is hard to swallow for ALIPAC because the votes were already in place even if santorum, george allen and burns had won their re-election bids.

ALIPAC last stand is in the house of representatives where they will be faced with the huge challenge to keep "all' GOP house memberS united against anything that comes out of the senate but this is not the case and ther's a huge division inside the GOP party on immigration

Start mailing bricks to jeff blake and other GOP house members that supports Bush immigration plan because if they defects, it will weaken a strong opposition to defeat the senate bill.

I expect passage by the summer and think the immigration reform bill is rolling fast and furious with huge money and support form laborunions and the chamber of commerce.

Don't bother being a nay sayer.

No, this bill has not passed and it will have the same fate as it did last year, when it was bill number S2611.

How about we ask the Congress to recognize the United States heritage as a nation of legal immigrants by introducing a Resolution to place a commemorative plaque at Ellis Island.

Congress should introduce a Bill that addresses the invasion of our southern boundary by foreign nationals with no regard for our nation's well being. Congress should fully support and fund the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq.) to provide for more effective border and employment enforcement, to prevent illegal immigration.

No rationalizations. No reforms.
