Sorry if I repeat something said before, but too many posts to read them all. I think, as mentioned, getting your U.S. Representative involved is a good bet. They are all up for re-election in November and could use the press.

Another angle is to call the Fire Marshall, I'm sure 9 people in one apartment is a violation of code. If you don't get satisfaction from the FM, find out who his boss is and ask him why his employees aren't doing their job.

It has been my experience that if you go high enough up the ladder of responsibility, eventually you get to someone who doesn't want to have to deal with it, so he tells one of his underlings to make it go away.

P.S. It just struck me what the 18 Bravo stands for. I know it's a designator for your specialty as a Special Forces member, but I can't remember what that specialty is. Anyway, thanks for your service and keep up the good work you're doing for our country.
