My husband was in Viet Nam too. He said when they returned to the California airport, they rushed in the bathrooms to take off their uniforms, as they were being spit on, and had things thrown on them.

He's still in the National Guard, went to Az. last year to build part of the fence, went to Ecuador a few yrs. ago to build a school....he says the last they heard about that school, was it was taken over by drug lords!

I'm a firm believer that one cannot help someone that won't help themselves! These illegals here don't fight for change in their own Country, they are here by the millions, which when that many in number comes at once, they won't assimilate, they don't want to...and they won't have any loyalty to this Country to support her during wars.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

Moosetracks, my husband said he did the same thing, but he said despite changing into civilian clothes, it was painfully obvious as he was tanned from having been there nearly two years, plus the haircut.

He was a cryptographer on a communications base, never held a gun, but they screamed "baby-killer" at him generically (although those reports of actual deliberate killings were either false or if it did happen, was severely isolated or accidental incidents in guerilla held villages).

Each and every time he see's an anti-war protest here in Portland, he gets angry (I have had to take things out of his hand which I feared would be thrown at the TV). He said those people are traitors to act the way they do, and do not realize how fortunate they are to have men and women who have been willing to volunteer their own personal safety to make sure those ungrateful s.o.b.'s could stand freely, around and spew hate about the military.

Sis, I remember reading about the fact that we are not allowed to go into, let alone shoot back at enemies in mosques.

Have elected leaders and military leaders forgotten about "good ole fashioned" warfare? One of the things they teach in guerilla warefare is if your enemy is big, and you are little, you find the little weaknesses against them, and exploit them. Do our leaders think terrorists aren't aware of the PC "rules and regulations"? You can bet they do know all the weaknesses. That's how they are being successful in their attacks. Plus, did we not learn a damn thing from the Russian occupation in Afghanistan? I'm not sure of all the details, but I remember that Russia had their little war their for about 10 plus years, and they ended up losing as well. I've read stories that Afghanistan was "Russia's Vietnam". We simply can't win playing "get the terrorists" by the PC rules handbook.
What's worse is that our troops are the ones who are suffering from this stupidity. I support our troops, and our vets 120% and I think they are the real heroes. It's very sad that they have to take orders from an imcompetent and spinless military hierarchy.
