Thread: VIDEO: Rangel says Amnesty is the solution to immigration

At the Dominican Bar Association's legislative breakfast, Charlie Rangel told attendees that the only answer to the nation's need for better immigration law is to implement amnesty.

The sparsely attended event was held this morning on West 44th Street.

Rangel criticized the compromise immigration plan proposed by fellow Democrat Ted Kennedy (and co-sponsored by John McCain), saying it was confusing and impractical.

Then, at around the 2:00 mark, Rangel references the law enforcement agents and officials who arrest undocumented workers, saying that those sheriffs and mayors are "bad guys" who work in “little towns around the country."

“All they want to do is arrest somebody and get on TV,â€

This person is an insane idiot. Breaking the law and rewarding the lawbreakers is no solution.

As if Rangel has never said an outrageous thing to get himself more media coverage. And it shows how much he gives a potooty about his own constituents losing jobs to cheap illegal labor. Throw this guy out!

If amnesty was the answer......we wouldn't be here now would we?

This guy is already being investigated on ethics charges and he wants to stand in judgment of good men and women doing their job and wanting to protect American and Americans. This guy has to go.

I'm from N.Y. and Charlie Rangel is right up there with the other two walking idiots Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. There whole life is based on sticking it to America for what happened more than 150 years ago. They would all like to see reparations too. What Charlie should really be talking about is why he has 4 rent controlled properties that he is paying about $10,000 less per month than he should.

SCAMNESTY is what CAUSED ALL the trouble over ILLEGAL immigration in the FIRST place!
