PHOENIX — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump continued to rail against illegal immigration Wednesday at a rally near Phoenix, saying if the process isn’t halted, Americans will lose the country.

“If we don’t stop [illegal immigration], we don’t have a country,” he told a crowd of thousands inside an airport hangar at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Trump echoed the same sentiments he told a Phoenix crowd in July when he said, while he loves the Mexican people, illegal immigration is damaging the United States. He not only wants a massive wall between the two nations, but wants the Mexican government to pay for it.

“We’re going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for the wall,” he said.

The mogul likened the wall built by the Israeli government to keep Palestinians from entering its borders.

“It’ll be a beautiful wall because some day they’ll name it after me,” he said, adding that the fence needs to be as high as the ceiling of the airplane hangar where he gave his speech.

Trump also touched on his plan to remove every illegal immigrant from American soil should he take office.

“If they’re here when I get in, they’re going back,” he said.

He said those who have immigrated legally would support his plan because it protects their jobs.

After leaving the topic for a moment, Trump returned to it, saying he wants to stop companies from relocating American plants to Mexico or other nations. He questioned how a Ford plant shipping parts back to the U.S. tax-free benefits the nation and also Nabisco’s decision to move a Chicago-area plant south of the border.

“I’m never eating Oreos again,” he said.

Earlier this year, the Internet found Trump’s clothing line was produced in Mexico.
