Gogo - I use that line a lot here to show that according to the hiring standards Gates and his evil empire publicly espouse, that he couldn't get a job at his own company - ... had he not be the infamous founder.
Oh sure, he's got honorary pieces of paper from several institutions, but that original hard-earned bondfide degree.. nope! He bailed out of Harvard in his 1st or 2nd year... I worked for Intel for years. I watched the industry change. All of a sudden they did not want risk takers. They did not want engineers over 40. It was nothing to work 70 hour weeks. You did not have a personal life. They burnt you out used you up and then simply replaced you with new blood. What this industry is saying really is not that there is not enough engineers in America, they are saying there is not enough under 40 engineers. Not enough engineers in America willing to give up a personal life and work around the clock. As we used to say "If you don't have a life, work at Intel".

03-13-2008, 07:49 PM #16This all started about 15 years ago with the "down sizing" phenomena. They used that to say anyone over 50 wasn't wanted. We stated at that time, "it won't happen in public administration." It did they started giving "buy-outs for people 55 years and so many years to "get out." Now its reaching the age of 40 and a certain salary range. We knew it would happen but the younger people wouldn't believe it.

I would be glad to help.......However, I went to the WashTech site and found that it was an offshoot of the AFL CIO, one of the biggest pro-OBL organizations in this country. So what are they doing to restrict insourcing in other industries in the US? This is similar to the Teamsters---I'm glad to support them in their fight against Mexican trucks---as long as they withdraw their support of other unions that facilitate illegal immigration. I haven't seen them doing that yet. Many other sectors of unionized industries remain wide open to unfair competition caused by the hiring of illegals.
