Just got off the phone with Senator Sessions Staffer and she said they have no Idea how its looking for the upcoming vote. Man this is stressful!!!!

Everywhere I have called today, staff members have at least been willing to listen to opposition to the DREAM ACT, except:
1. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS)
2. Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT)
3. Sen. Bryon Dorgan (D-ND)

Altho I thanked Sen. Dorgan's staff member sincerely for his excellent amendment to the Transportation bill to defund the Mexican Truck Pilot Program, he just cut me off when I got to the DREAM ACT, as did staffers in the other 2 offices above. Sen. Brownback is a devout convert to conservative Catholicism, and passage of the DREAM ACT is a evidentally a major item on the Catholic Church's "social agenda".

Sen. JIM BUNNING (R-KY) and Sen. CLAIRE MCCASKILL (D-MO) are OPPOSED to the DREAM ACT, their offices told me this am!

Called my senators, Wyden and Smith. Smiths phones did not seem flooded (or maybe he has a good compliment of staffing to handle?), and I was able to leave a comment right away.

Wydens office had about a three minute wait to talk to someone. Boy, leaving that comment with his staff member, talk about silence on the other end of the line (Wyden is notoriously liberal and OBL, so I assume his staff is too)!!
