    Dear Mrs. Big Tex...

Thank you so much . I don't think many of the
young teenagers I've seen protesting understand what it is
to live under dictatorships. Matter of fact about two years ago
I saw a protest downtown here in Santa Fe , NM a bunch of
teenagers and young adults were protesting the Iraq war, I saw
"RED," when I saw a young guy parading a flag with the face of
Che Guvera , I was furious.....!!! They really don't know nor they
want to know what this symbol means! That friend of mine who I
wrote the book ( " Visions Of Freedom," ) told me stories that made
my hair stand on end....First off the military would show up at the
school and ask young children to pray to God for ice cream, after
awhile no ice cream showed up. Then they said: " Pray to Fidel for
ice cream, " Guess what the ice cream showed up !. " Disgusing !"

He also told me they have a comittee called" Comittee For The
Defense Of The Revolution," they have neighbors spy on each
other , what you do, where you go !. He has a brother still there
who several times when he was drunk yelling in public against
Castro , we'll he's been in prison several times. If you want to
leave the country your forced to go to a concentration camp in
the country to work the fields and live in tents with 50 or more
people until they decided you may leave , you are considered a
traitor , and when you do leave they come and take inventory of
your house, if anything is missing you loose , you must pay back
the government.....I had my book copyrighted but no publisher
was interested in this kind of story , I guess one day I'll publish
it myself through Amazon . I have approached a Cuban actress
by the name of Alicia Alonso to see if she can give me some idea.
I'm a New Yorker by birth and it's still in my blood , I guess one
day I'll move back but upstate not the city after what happened
on 9/11 I couldn't, it still hurts , the memories of that day....

    Cheers....Joe

Bigtex, we should take solace in the fact that Obama and his communist inspired cabinet have done what the Japanese did so well at Pearl Harbor...they have awakened a sleeping giant. The Tea Party's yesterday weren't a singular phenomenon. They are the beginning of a movement of Americans that have been awakened and are angry! As for me, I'm mad as hell and, like you, won't take it anymore! Remember the Alamo!!

As we drove home yesterday from the TEA Party I was mad . While almost 10,000 people show up in Houston to protest, millions did NOTHING. They are still sitting in their ez-chairs watching TV and have no clue about what is really going on. They sit back and wait for people like us and immigrants like MrsBigTex to solve their problem so they don't have to miss their favorite TV show.

Welcome MrsBigTex. How about, I thought SLPC said we hated immigrants? Heck many of us married to immigrants or are immigrants ourselves.

I think that is a GREAT IDEA!
...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...

    Hi JoeFrank!

Dear Joe, the memories of that terrible 9/11 still hurt in every American, I guess we all never will find words to define how much that event started to change the Country as we knew it… I’m sorry about your pain for your city…

About Cuba… What you are telling we all about the kids, Castro and the ice creams are maybe just part of what the poor Cuban people had and still have to live… God Bless every one of those poor fellows because they had no right neither to being Christian nor catholic, etc. as your friends probably told you. Is no religion in communism, or permission to believe in more than Santeria, as far as I know for Cuban people I have the honor to know.
As Argentinean, I know who Che Guevara was. He was a Criminal that took advantage of people’s ignorance, a mercenary, an assassin who helped Castro to destroy the Cuban country. He is the Communism icon internationally recognized. Where his picture is you will find one of two things or maybe both: A Socialist/communist and or an Ignorant.

Hey, I wish you the best luck to publish your book! Maybe, as the things are going, step by step more people can be interested in reading about, with our fellow Americans waking up and opening their eyes… As I tried to help with my little story you can helps us as well with the knowledge you have about all this.

    Mrs. Big Tex....

Thank you and God Blesss you and your family.
May we all be vigilant and pray that the American
people wake up. I remember reading once it was
said that in the Constitution the people have the
right to dissolve the government if it so chooses.
I have to check it out , excuse the typos, just woke
    up...

    Cheers..Joe

You are right that the American people are the wall that this insanity will not be able to smash through. The trouble is our politicians are not influenced by the voice of the common American anymore, rather big-money fringe groups like LaRaza, etc. that promise to deliver the votes and fund the campaigns. Same thing as corporate and foreign lobbyists.
But if you run into your Gov. Rick Perry, please mention that IMO we don't need any mentions of secession from the union at this time in history. State sovereignty is important, but all 50 of us have to show a united front. This is the kind of stuff nuts like Venezuela, China and Russia will seize onto to prove that we are falling like Rome.

Don't worry, Perry is like a big snake all puffed up trying to show how mean he is. It wasn't too long ago he was trying to give half of Texas away to a Spanish company who wanted to put in the Trans Texas Corridor. He has been nothing but a mouth piece for the agriculture, construction and ranching fat cats that have made huge profits using illegal alien slave labor. He isn't going to do anything but puff up and ride the wave we all have created. He, like the GOP wants to sucker us in and jump on our band wagon in hopes that we will vote for them next time. I have news for Perry, I didn't vote for him last time and sure won't vote for him the next time either.

Thanks, bigtex. At least on this subject I can stop gritting teeth and grinding molars knowing that and I have heard the only reason he is doing this is that he may have to face Kay Bailey-Hutchinson in the next election.
If I am not mistaken, Texas did secede from the union in 1851? but were driven back at gun point as a violation of the treaty the state signed in the first place. Texas, according to some pundits, is allowed to break up into five states if it wants (which should make for some real interesting times in this country.)
