I think most of this thread is pointless...the deed is done...finished and over...Bush is pres...

Would I vote all R's out...definitely NOT...there are some mighty good ones branded R...would I vote the dems in? Not on your life..they're waiting with bated breath to get the chance to give amnesty to the illegals thinking that they would garner millions of votes...

That's all the political people do...pander for votes..pander for the corporations...and screw the citizen.

We need to clean house...from dogcatcher all the way up...but voting ONE party won't DO IT....

We need a third party and a strong one...

    jezzabell,
May I entertain your point #2.
RE:2. I am disgusted with the apathy of Americans

Yes some Americans are apathetic. But a lot are not and I rise in defense of the non apathetic Americans. Believe me a lot of Americans do care and are active. We get great support. People stop to ask us what they can do. To get support you must have a message they resonates well and you must treat your supporters with respect and not jerk them around or sell them out.

But what would you say if I told you that prior to the 2004 election there were voices that claim to be on our side but went SILENT prior to the 2004 election? You'd might say that you already know that. What would you say if I told you that I got e-mails from people who claim to be on our side telling me that I shouldn't talk about illegal immigration around election time because it might cost bush votes? I will not surrender my first amendment rights. But you see my point. Americans want to do something but sometimes they are mislead and sold out and that does not help the cause. There are people in this movement that don't care about the issue they just want to procure R votes. So before we call our fellow Americans apathetic it is up to us to present a message that resonates and treat them with respect and not have a hidden agenda and not jerk them around and not tell the to "get involved" expect around election day at which time you are to kneel down shut up and vote for Bush.

    INSANE

I cant believe the insanity and the stupidity of our leaders and the American People. We have current laws now that our goverment refuses to enforce. All they have to do is Enforce the laws and the problem solved. The problem is Bush and the rest of our leaders is getting Kicked backs from Corperations who want cheap labor and the American People have caught them with thier hands in the cookie jar. It is apparent America is no longer about the will of American Citizens.
At some point in time if the American People want to change What is going on then we are going to have to stop being cowards, stop worrying about political correctness and do something.[mod edit] Our political Leaders is commiting treason and we are allowing it.

For you people out there that believe in prayer, we need it more than ever right now that God would turn the hearts of the decisionmakers to the will and ear of the people
we need to pray that God will turn the hearts of the American people, as Mopheadblue said:
"2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
God will use the common people to save our country and those that are insignificant in the eyes of the leaders -- he will NOT use the elite because God will have the glory and not men

King David was a lowly shepard boy with courage
the angels appeared to the shepards in the field when the Christ child was born -- not to the kings

Yes 2004 is over but the lessons learned carry on.

If you would like a strong third party and think there some mighty good R's then that fits well. Let the strong third party be born NOW!!
Let these mighty good R's switch to Ind. or MM party. Then we can support them. Let there be a 3 party house. Whats wrong with that?

You got it. Bush is the problem. Bush enforces laws, not congress. But in defense of the American people, sometimes not everyone is well versed in how government works and when they hear the distractors yelling "we need more laws" or "congress should enforce the law" they are mislead. That is why your point is so important.

    Mustang,
If there really are patriots in the R party that care about America, they should be willing to switch parties NOW.

RE:Since you are asking me, NO I am not a democrat, but I am not a brain dead cult like kool aid drinking idiot either.

I would suppose that you are calling me a "brain dead cult like kool aid drinking idiot" right? You know what? you can do whatever you want to do whatever seems to float your boat here and makes you feel superior to old Nitty, I am a bigger and better person then that and I am not going to let you pull my focus away from what we are trying to do here by getting my little feelings all hurt by you calling me and others like me that voted for Bush names. If that is what it takes to get you off then have at it as for me, I will continue to write my letters, email my leaders, make my phone calls and do whatever I have to do to prevent this amnesty for illegal immigrants being put forth by both, democrats and republicans!
Thank you cowgirl, I appreciate your remarks and agree.
Swtncgram, that was a remarkable piece you researched on Kerry, thanks for posting it on here, I knew he was a snake in the grass. I think we have a remarkable shortage of quality leaders on both sides of this issue, however, I am going to try to think positive and hope that this issue facing us might bring forth a whole new party or a whole new breed of American politican, who might be able to combine the politican part with a little patriotism, and help to restore our country to what it was before we became unable to do the jobs that needed to be done before the mexicans felt they needed to come here and do for us!
To me this problem can be reduced to 4 things congress needs to do.
    1. Secure the border right now!
2.Enforce immigration laws already on the books.
    3. Place into effect heavy fines and jail sentences and prosecute to the full extent of the law any conpanies, or individuals hiring illegal immigrants to do jobs.
    4. Absolutely, no amnesty to people who come here and disrespect our laws and our right to be a soverign nation.
I may have left something out, after all I am a kool aid drinker, it seems to me though, if we do all that, there would be no need to deport millions of illegals, they would simply go home and maybe march in their own dam streets!
Build the dam fence post haste!
