But the devil is in the details. How can you enforce immigration law without legitimate or real ID's?

Just like liberals, Libertarians tend to advocate general or abstract policies but fail to offer practical means of accomplishing their goals. Their idealism needs to be brought down to earth.
As we debate federalism (socialism, globalism) verses local jurisdiction issues I've reach my own conclusion to the illegal problem. CFR Presidents have done nothing since Ike about illegals with good reasons. They planned more government control (big business) by allowing illegals becoming a huge problem as an excuse for people like Jonathan and others to want more federal control over States and local jurisdictions!

Jonathan your falling into the trap to give up your freedoms and liberties for the sake of big government and big business control of your life!

Sturmruger, you have changed the subject, and you haven't answered my question:

As to your idea that illegal immigration has been encouraged to develop so as to facilitate more federal control over States and local jurisdictions, this seems to fit into the mold of conspiracy theorists who also think that AIDS and the bird flu were developed so the government could create a police state to control those problems. Is that the way you see it?
[b] If we do not insist on Voter ID, how can we stop illegals from voting?

    !
The first part has already been covered! I answered the second part to your confused position that we need to give up our Liberties and freedom in order to stop an illegal invasion that CFR Presidents have failed to stop since Ike!

This is the reason why I'm joining the Libertarian Party tomorrow their candidates are the only Representatives who have the right concept to stop illegal imigration with out our citizens having to give up our freedom of Liberty rights to our federal government!

We do not need guest workers - problem solved!

Your comparing unrelated issues, AIDS started in Africa and the Bird Flu started in Asia. The way I "see it" we need to focus on candidates with Constituion credibility so our descendents will have the freedom of Liberty that the CFR people are trying to destroy!

    Sturmruger,

1 Elevating wages for genuine American citizens doing physical labor will help to fill those jobs with genuine Americans rather than illegal aliens, but it will not completely solve the problem of illegal aliens remaining in our country. We need a way to identify people who are citizens from those who are not citizens, and that is the issue you continue to ignore. We need a way to determine whether they were born in the USA and are the progeny of American parents. In order to elevate wages for genuine American citizens doing physical labor, we first have to determine who is an American citizen and who is not, that is, we need to know his real ID.

2 Do you still think the illegal immigration problem was intentionally created as a means of justifying a police state to solve the problem? That is a sweeping statement that needs specific evidence in its support.

3 We know the idealistic Communist doctrine did not work out very well in practice in the Soviet Union or elsewhere. Has any nation in the world ever adopted the idealistic Libertarian program, and how did it work out?
