Why push health care - because there are three to four years of collecting taxes without having to pay benefits. Govt needs the cash for other programs. Is there anyone that believes that the funds collected during the first few years would be set aside for health care in the future? This will be just like the Social Security lockbox that isn't.

It is nothing but a diversion. The news focuses on healthcare rather than unemployment and that way they can also try to push amnesty. Who wants amnesty if there are no jobs for Americans already. Smoke and mirrors is all it is.

In a letter to Obama dated Dec. 9, 2009, the Congressional Black Caucus called fpr job creation and job training, and funding for small businesses, with the money to be directed to "American citizens." This is first time that I've seen a black organization abandon the rainbow coalition fantasy and focus on what's been stating them in the face for years. Obama is right about that under current free trade policy. BUT, if we change the current free trade policy to our normal regular since the day our nation was formed protected trade policy, we not only can get those jobs back, we will get those jobs back. Do you really think our corporations want to produce products in 10 different countries under 10 different governments in 5 different languages to supply the US market? No, they really don't. The millions of Americans who run our corporations find no joy, pleasure or as we can see any meaningful "profit" from producing goods destined for the US market in these other countries.

Most of the millions of Americans working their asses off every day in the corporate world to turn a bottom-line profit for their shareholders DO NOT want to close plants in the US and ship them off to Timbuktu. They don't want to spend their lives on the phone with people who can't speak English, deal with work forces who don't have our judgment or standards, spend 10 hours on a flight to end up in some sweat shop walking through neighborhoods drowning in poverty and corruption.

No, our corporate Americans DO NOT want to be doing that. Free Trade Treason, Immigration and Tax policy forces them to do that.

But if we restore protected trade policies, stop illegal immigration, reduce our excess legal immigration numbers and pass the FairTax, our companies will be forced economically by the numbers to bring those operations back to the United States because their choices are rather simple. Produce overseas, sell overseas. Produce in the US, sell in the US. There will still be hundreds of billions of dollars worth of international trade including imports into the US, but the amount will be managed, the trade deficit eliminated, and as some start to come back, more will follow back home just as they followed others over there to begin with, and when they do come back, they'll have federal trade protection that protects their operations here from unfair foreign competition, their profits will not only be larger, they'll be secure.

And when we change these policies and our corporations come home where they belong to serve the US market with largely US made products, our corporate Americans will be asking themselves why they spent $100,000 to $200,000 on higher educations that taught them otherwise and donated hundreds of billions of dollars to politicians whose only goal was to bankrupt the US and the companies they worked for.

From what I understand there is nothing in the bill that benefits the people. In-fact the bill was written by the insurance companies and pharma's. Everything positive was taken out. In-fact, the one last remaining item which I thought was decent; was that you could not be turned down for pre-existing conditions. Well that was stripped out of the bill.

So basically all you have now is that everyone in the country must buy medical insurance and pay for it years before the actual program goes into place. If you don't buy it, you are going to jail. And the insurance companies will now have billions more that they can donate to Washington politicians. Oh when I say everyone in the country, don't forget that excludes union members and federal employees. If the bill is so damn good, why are they excluding themselves from it?

I think the boldness of this Congress' thievery was the final straw. People are beginning to wake up. Let's just hope they kick the bumbs out next election.

Obama is all about smoke and mirrors. Tell the public what they want to hear, create distractions and then he tries to work his magic behind our backs passing off his socialist agenda.

Actually there is an explanation for this. Complete oligarchical control of the world under one global government based on dictatorial communism. A complete micromanaging of every person's life from birth to death. But in order for this happen, the American People have to have their spirit for Liberty broken. Once the American People are a completely broken and controlled people, the rest of the world will fall in line with these dictates.

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the National autodetermination practiced in past centuries.-- David Rockefeller in an address to a Trilateral Commission meeting in June of 1991

Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao's leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history.– David Rockefeller

"You know, gentlemen, that I do not owe any personal income tax. But nevertheless, I send a small check, now and then, to the Internal Revenue Service out of the kindness of my heart."- David Rockefeller, before a Congressional committee

"...conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -- one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." -----David Rockefeller

    Quotes re Rockefellers
"No candid study of his career can lead to other conclusion than that he is victim of perhaps the ugliest of all passions, that for money, money as an end. It is not a pleasant picture.... this money-maniac secretly, patiently, eternally plotting how he may add to his wealth.... He has turned commerce to war, and honey-combed it with cruel and corrupt practices.... And he calls his great organization a benefaction, and points to his church-going and charities as proof of his righteousness. This is supreme wrong-doing cloaked by religion. There is but one name for it —. hypocrisy." This was the description Ida Tarbell made of John D. Rockefeller .--- Hans Ruesch

Between 1963 and 1965 more than 400, 000 Colombian women were sterilized in a program funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. In Bolivia, a U.S. imposed population control program administered by the Peace Corps sterilized Quechua Indian women without their knowledge or consent...(Akwesasne Notes, 1977: 31). In 1967 the American Public Health Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists conducted a study and found that 54 percent of the teaching hospitals nation-wide "...made sterilization a requirement for winning approval for an abortion" (Weisbord, 1975: 155). "One CFR published policy objective is substantial worldwide depopulation including half of the current U.S. population being targeted. This population reduction program is largely funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and the Merck Fund, both financially and administratively linked to the Merck pharmaceutical company--the world's leading vaccine manufacturer........Records show the Merck pharmaceutical company received a major share of the Nazi "flight capital" at the close of World War II when its president, George W. Merck, was America's biological weapons industry director. These facts were revealed by Norman Covert, Army public relations director at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD, and veteran news correspondent Paul Manning in his book "Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile" (Lyle Stuart, Inc, 1981). Rockefeller spent a great deal of money financing Nazi scientists and eugenic institutions in Germany, among them Otmar Freiherr von Vershuer. Vershuer was particularly interested in twins. With twins you could unlock the mysteries of defective reproduction, they thought, and also with twins you could discover the secret to multiplication of the master race. Vershuer sent his assistant, whose name was Joseph Mengele, into Auschwitz to finish the program originally financed by Rockefeller. But of course, Mengele went there after the war began......Rockefeller was funding the Nazi eugenicists throughout the entire pre-war period. Rockefeller was receiving constant letters of protest because of its open involvement with Nazi medicine......When lawyers and other entities tried to stop me from seeing the records, they even claimed doctor-patient confidentiality for Joseph Mengele! The haunted house of eugenics

The Rockefeller Foundation was the major funding source for Kinsey, even though it had ample, repeated warning from noted statisticians and social scientists that Kinsey’s pseudo-science was a hoax. The Rockefeller Foundation began funding Kinsey in 1941, mostly by grants funneled through the National Research Council, but it also funded Kinsey directly.
In the early 1950s, when the Reece Committee of Congress exposed Rockefeller grants in support of Communism and socialism, and started going after the Foundation’s funding of Kinsey’s sex research, the Rockefeller people backed off from funding Kinsey. Besides, he had already done his work for them. The next step was to apply Kinsey — to the law, education, etc. — so Rockefeller funding shifted over to the Kinsey-allied American Law Institute and SIECUS [Sex Information and Education Council of the United States]. The Ford Foundation and others have also funded Kinsey. Let me read to you here from the Kinsey Institute’s Spring 1998 Kinsey Today newsletter, which reports that the Institute has received a Ford Foundation grant to "fund a media relations firm in planning a pro-active strategy to counter the on-going campaign to shut down the Kinsey Institute and discredit its character." The Illuminati consist of the Jesuits and some of the world's richest families including the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers and the Windsors. While they pay lip service to religion, they worship Lucifer. Their agents control the world's media, education, business and politics. These agents may think they are only pursuing success, but success literally means serving the devil. Prisoners of their wealth, the Illuminati prefer hatred and destruction to Love. Understandably, they can't go public with this. They pretend to be moral while working behind the scenes to degrade and enslave humanity in a "new world order." Hiroshima, Dresden, Auschwitz, Cambodia and Rwanda were sacrifices to their god Lucifer. They are responsible for the two World Wars, the Depression and the Cold War. Sept. 11, the War on Terror and the Iraq War are their latest achievements. The Illuminati Conspiracy Against God by HENRY MAKOW PhD

So, in any event, in 1913, it was pretty clear that J. P. Morgan - The House of Morgan - was the dominant banking influence. But today, that seems to have shifted to the Rockefellers. There's no doubt in my mind today that the Rockefellers are the dominant banking force in the United States Interview with G. Edward Griffin, Author of 'The Creature from Jekyll Island'

the first thing they were trying to hide at that meeting was the fact that the Federal Reserve System was written BY the money trust. The people who attended that meeting were the epitome of the money trust. These were literally the wealthiest men in the world. When you added up the wealth which was controlled by the seven men who went to that meeting .....they represented, approximately one-fourth of the wealth of the entire world. We're talking about the J. P. Morgan dynasty, the Rockefeller dynasty, Kuhn Loeb & Company, the Rothschilds from Europe, and the Warburgs from Germany and the Netherlands. These were the people who were represented at that meeting, and they are the ones who created the Federal Reserve System - supposedly - to break the grip of the money trust. Interview with G. Edward Griffin, Author of 'The Cremature from Jekyll Island'

At the turn of the century, people like Rockefeller and Morgan and Carnegie had decided that since they were at the top of the heap, they didn't want any more competition. They wanted to put an end to competition. ......when you look at these men sitting around the table at a clubhouse on Jekyll Island, all of a sudden you realize, "Oh my gosh, the Federal Reserve System is a CARTEL." And that is exactly what it is. It is not a government agency. It is a cartel no different than the banana cartel, the oil cartel, or any other. It just happens to be a banking cartel. That is the second thing that emerges from the study of what happened on Jekyll Island. Interview with G. Edward Griffin, Author of 'The Creature from Jekyll Island'

It is important to know also before moving on to the other aspects of I. G. Farben, that this was the controlling, creating force behind Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Regime. This is a thoroughly documented fact that is again not widely known, but is certainly no secret.
........We are told that, in Nazi Germany, the big industrialists made a big mistake by cooperating with Hitler and they wound up being controlled by Hitler. That's what you read. The truth of the matter is that Hitler was always a puppet of the big industrialists. He was put forth as a façade, an excuse for controlling the economy. The economy of Germany was rigidly controlled and the people were told that it was controlled by the Fascist government, when in reality it was the cartel that was making the decisions and was using the government as a tool for enforcing on the economy all the regulations and controls which it, the cartel, had decided it wanted. These controls did several things. They eliminated all the competition against the cartel. They squeezed out the little guy. They squeezed out the small businessman. They destroyed him completely, and secondly, they regimented the entire German population. These were decisions made by the cartel.
........Now, as a result of this, I. G. Farben and Standard Oil did get together on this. They decided they did not want to compete on price so the inevitable happened. After three year's negotiations, the two cartels were married, a phrase or term, which they themselves used. They married on November 9, 1929, the cartels formed a super cartel and the agreement they signed contained three primary provisions. They are: 1. Standard Oil received one-half ownership of the hydrogenation rights everywhere in the world, except in Germany. They weren't going to have to compete against that. 2. I. G. Farben received 546,000 shares of Standard Oil stock, which was valued at $30 million dollars. Now that was 1929. You can imagine what $30 million dollars would be worth today. 3. Both cartels agreed never to compete with each other forever more.
They said that anytime I. G. Farben wanted to go into a field relating to petroleum they would do so jointly with Standard Oil and anytime that Standard Oil wanted to go into the field of chemicals or drugs or anything like that it would do so jointly with I. G. Farben. But above all, they must never compete and so they were married and out of that came literally, the largest and most powerful cartel the world has ever known, even though most people have never heard about it.
Now, as the Nazis prepared for war, it became obvious that a certain group of their cartel members would be on one side and another group would be on the other side. Now they had no particular loyalties to Germany or to the United States or to England or to any of the other countries that would be involved in the war. Their primary loyalty was to the cartel. That was their mother, their father, their protector and that was their life.
So they began to make arrangements to conceal their interconnect ownership in these various countries so that when the war came the countries involved wouldn't confiscate their properties. So what they did was to create a maze of ownership through Swiss Banks. It was called the Stuttgart circle and it was a brilliant maze. It took years to unravel it. LECTURE BY MR. G. EDWARD GRIFFIN
Yes! There is that. But that isn't a valid tactic to be allowed in our country. And it must be stopped. It's why once we complete these 5 simple steps to fixing our economy, including passing the FairTax, then the cover of evil through "benefaction" which today is the term for 501 C 3 not-for-profit phony "charities" will come to and end, because there will be no income tax to offset the "benefaction" under the FairTax, and under the FairTax, any phony 501 C 3 "charity" that sells services for money will be required to charge the same FairTax on their sales as any other for-profit seller of those services. These phony 501 C 3 "charities" in the US collect over $1.3 TRILLION in tax-exempt revenue annually, own over $2 TRILLION in assets and employ 15 million people. That's almost 10% of our GDP and over 10% of our work force. This is an absolute outrage to have allowed our government to siphon off 1/10 of our economy and work force into non-profit non-taxable enterprises competing with for-profit-taxable enterprises spending their time and our money pushing agendas to destroy the US economy and turn our political system into a socialist-globalist state of indebted slaves and serfs mastered by a global oligarchy.

Americans are catching on. They're beginning to see this. And in the 2010 elections, we all need to do our best to let them know that protectionism is not a dirty word, free trade is the dirty word. Protectionism is the protected trade policies that built the greatest economic superpower the world has ever known and free trade treason policies have destroyed it. With protected trade policies we'll rise and restore our economy again. With free trade treason policies we will continue our dive to the bottom. It's not complicated. It's very simple. Protectionism isn't a "maybe, it will work", it's a tried and true policy and a mathematical economic certainty.

Yes, under protected trade policies, companies will pay more for labor, but they'll pay less in transportation and international management and they'll have more expendable income available to purchase their products. Yes, prices of goods may change a little, but not enough to forfeit the value of the jobs, investment, income and profit for Americans. Yes, there may be some grand-standing from disappointed trade partners, but they'll get over it and instead of using all their national resources and labor to produce for the US, they'll turn to using their national resources and labor to produce for themselves and their citizens. Yes, there will still be huge volumes of international trade between the US and other other countries, but yes, it will be balanced sensible trade where the money that goes out comes back in and both partners benefit from the trade relationship instead just one benefiting from the transactions.

So in 2010, make the choices clear.

    1. If a candidate wants immigration reform instead of immigration enforcement including some perversion of trying meld the two, which is not the solution, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    2. If a candidate doesn't have the gumption to say our law requires that we deport illegal aliens and our support our rule of law, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    3. If a candidate whines that "we can't deport 12 million illegal aliens", when of course we can, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    4. If a candidate wails the ole National Council of La Raza spiel about "we're a nation of immigration", "we're all God's people", "illegal aliens do the jobs Americans won't do", "we can't deport because we don't know who they are, where they are or what they're doing", "we want to be a welcoming nation", and blah, blah, blah, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    5. If a candidate claims they oppose illegal immigration but supports more legal immigration, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    6. If a candidate wants to make it easier and faster for immigrants to enter the US, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    7. If a candidate supports "Free Trade" and doesn't want to return to Protectionism, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    8. If they bring up the Smoot-Hartley Act and an excuse to perpetuate "Free Trade", STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    9. If they bring up AgJOBS amnesty or any form of shamnesty or more guest worker permits, etc., STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    10. If they oppose the FairTax, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    11. If they support the Flat Tax or a VAT (Value-Added Tax) instead of the FairTax, STRIKE THEM FROM THE LIST.

    12. If they don't know or haven't decided between the FairTax, Flat Tax or a VAT, then ask them why they haven't decided? And tell them, we need the FairTax and if they were fit to serve the people of the United States, they would already know that, because they would have already taken the time to study, learn and know that the FairTax is the tax solution to all tax collection issues in the US. The FairTax is not a solution to government spending issues, although by its natural course, the FairTax will reduce the number of people eligible for entitlements and poverty programs, because their net expendable income will be greater under the FairTax and they won't need the aid or qualify for it. And as our people have more expendable income and our businesses have more retained earnings under the FairTax, our economy will jump-start improving profits for employers and jobs, wages and benefits for our employees. Add protected trade policies to the FairTax, and our economy will soar, labor will be in high demand and wages and benefits will improve across the board, and those on entitlements and poverty programs will be moved off those programs into sustainable jobs with good benefits, significantly reducing government spending in these areas of our federal budget on unemployed and underemployed Americans who can't sustain themselves under our present trade, immigration and tax policies.

So keep it simple in 2010. Stay focused on the 3 top fixes we need.

    1. stop illegal immigration
    2. pass the FairTax
    3. protect our trade

We can deal with items 4 and 5 of this 5 step plan after we have people in the US Congress and running our states who get the fact that their job is to represent the citizens of the United States and the best interest of our people and nation. Period.

That's true. Democrats need to weed out "illegals advocates" from their party. People who advocate for illegals aren't interested in the security of the United States or the sustainability of American Citizens or the required viability and prosperity of American Businesses who employ them. Same is true for any "illegals advocates" in the Republican Party. Weed them out, America, cull them all out of our political process in 2010. Only support candidates who want to:

    1. stop illegal immigration
    2. pass the FairTax
    3. protect our trade

Give all the other candidates and incumbents their walking papers back to their districts to look for a full-time job in the private sector off our dole. I'd like to send them to the back of a soup line for the years of treason and stupidity embedded in their disservice to the people of the United States and the harm they've caused our country, but I'll be happy with just getting them out of the Congress and State Governments for now so they cause no more harm to US.

No, the provision that prohibits denials of pre-existing conditions is still in the bill, along with prohibiting dropped coverages if you get sick and rescinding policies except for failure to pay. The entire language covering all these issues, which I think are legitimate issues and should have been addressed 30 years ago, comprise 3 small paragraphs on 1 page of the 2700 page document.

I think Republicans would be viewed for eternity as Heroes if they would consolidate the 3 small paragraphs that are 1 sentence each into 1 small paragraph of 3 sentences in a 1 page bill, add a small 2nd paragraph that provides some reasonable definitions and qualifiers and pass it when they have the votes to do so. Since the Democrats agree with this for the most part since they've already passed bills that have this provision in it, it could pass both Houses of Congress in 15 minutes, the time it takes to do an electronic vote. That 1 page bill resolves 90% of the horror stories for people with insurance who got dropped, who bought policies that were rescinded for some genetic marker or past history that is really no more of an immediate threat for illness than any number of other conditions insureds develop every day and are covered on, and pre-existing conditions that have been treated, cured or placed in remission. The current bills allow you to get cancer and walk in while you have it and purchase health insurance. I think that's a problem and leads to the desire for many to want mandated insurance, which I adamantly oppose.

I think we need to use the definitions and qualifiers provisions to discourage that, and set-up a separate solution for the "existing condition" under certain circumstances where charities handle those, separate from "pre-existing conditions" that are under control, in remission, have never flared or surfaced, or are chronic illnesses under control with medication and treatments and handled by private insurance companies.

What people need to face up to is that the reason most people don't have insurance is because they can't afford the policies. So what are the reasons most people have for not having insurance or separate means to pay for their own medical care? Joblessness and Unsustainable Wages and Income. What is the cause of that condition in our work force? Illegal Immigration, Free Trade Treason and Mandated Income-based tax policies. In order to solve the health insurance problem, we have to solve the Joblessness and Unsustainable Wages and Income problem.

Take the FairTax. That 1 simple beautiful legislation will do 2 things immediately:

    1. increase the net expendable income of our households which for a typical median income household of 4, with 2 adults and 2 kids, earning between $50,000 and $60,000 a year will increase their net take home income by over $16,440 a year with the Monthly Rebate which greatly increases their ability to purchase a good basic health insurance policy if they don't have company paid health insurance at work.

    2. increases the net retained earnings of employers who can't now afford to offer company paid health insurance as a company benefit either in whole or in part where the employee pays a portion, but under the FairTax could afford to offer it, and many would do just that.

If we stop illegal immigration and get all these people out of our country who aren't supposed to be here to begin with, unemployed Americans will get their jobs back and underemployed Americans will see their deflated wages increase and benefits improve, which now enables almost 12 million American workers to purchase insurance or get it at work.

If we protect our trade and bring our manufacturers back home where they belong, then there will be good jobs with good benefits available to millions more Americans who with the advantage of the FairTax will have more net expendable income and employers whose businesses are secure because they are protected enjoying greater retained earnings due to the FairTax than they've had in years. Now employees will have much greater job security, at better wages with better benefits with much higher net expendable income so they can either purchase their own with their own expendable income or work for a company that under the FairTax can afford to offer company paid health insurance.

Now with millions of jobs for Americans, those taken back from illegal aliens and those brought back through new protected trade policies, millions of unemployed and underemployed Americans on MediCaid, SCHIP, free school lunch, HUD housing, ADC, food stamps and so forth, won't be on those programs because they'll no longer qualify, and we automatically reduce government spending on those programs, which today, represent over 45% of every dime paid to the IRS in individual income taxes. That's right, 45 cents out of every dollar of personal income tax paid by US taxpayers goes to supporting those who can't support themselves due to lack of jobs and sustainable wages. It's over $500 billion a year that we spend on these programs, more than what we spend on Defense, not counting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. And that's just on the federal level and doesn't count the additional hundreds of billions states, local communities and charities spend on these people.

Bring the jobs home from other countries, take the jobs back from illegal aliens, and put America back to work. It's not only the right thing to do for our people suffering in poverty, it's the right thing to do for all the Americans who are underwriting it.

Stop the Stupidity that's bankrupting the US through unemployment, underemployment, free trade treason and a tax collection system that's proven itself a destructive failure on all counts.

Then 90% of the problems people are having with the affordability of health insurance will evaporate almost over-night. The rest will be addressed by repealing the McCarran-Ferguson Act exemption to the Sherman-Anti-Trust Act that exempts the entire insurance industry from our anti-trust laws which would open up interstate competition and federal trade regulation of the entire insurance industry. We'll not only see declines in the cost of health insurance, we'll see declines in the cost of home and auto insurance as well.

I thought the 1 trillion, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, that obama and his cronies rammed through Congress was supposed to be about preserving and creating jobs and promoting economic recovery!

This is what obama claimed when he was trying to sell it to the nation. So what happened?
