Because you are using GNU Licensed software, you don't have to worry about paying anyone to use their software. Maintenance of the code base is handled by the powerful FSF (https://www.fsf.org/).

Use GNU Social (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_social), and get other anti-illegal immigration groups to host content on your app. Charge a recurring monthly fee and you have an ever ready stream of revenue and most important: control of your brand and expression.
