Ron Paul's deal with Mike Huckabee
Ron Paul supporters chose to make a deal with Mike Huckabee supporters to give Huckabee a victory in West Virginia.
Ron Paul supporters chose to vote for pro-amnesty Mike Huckabee. Ron Paul supporters joined with supporters of pro-amnesty John McCain to win West Virginia for Mike Huckabee.

Why were the last two threads about this deleted? RP supporters could have given Romney, an attrition through enforcement candidate, the win, but they chose to give their support to Huckster, an open borders lib, for 30 sheckels of silver (3 delegates).
If the mods here at ALIPAC delete this thread, they can go ahead and ban my account too. I think it's very important for people to know what happened today before they vote.

Ron Paul..
Ron Paul needed the delegates to continue and huckabee was willing to give them to him. They will make deals like this and especially when it goes to a brokered convention. This is politics ..this is the way the system works. Any candidate can do what they want with their delegates.

Hi All!
I have a small request, can we agree not to argue about this topic?
Just keep in mind who monitors this site.

Once again I will say if RP fans did vote for Huckabee Romney should bare some of the blame.
I know for a fact a lot of RP supporters turned against Romney after the way he treatd RP in the debates and can you blame them ?"A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson

Both Paul supporters and Huckabee supporters were angry at a convention process that seemed to be rigged for Romney. So after the first balloting, when they were knocked out of the running, Paul delegates met in a room to hear arguments for supporting one of the remaining candidates. Huckabee's supporters offered a deal: If Huckabee won the convention, three members of his delegate slate would resign. Responsibility for replacing those delegates goes not to the state party or national party but to the winner of the convention. Thus, Huckabee's campaign would replace the three delegates with three Ron Paul delegates.
