Thread: Would you all like to take a peek as to what I am up against

Here is the link to the Mail tribune forms in Medford Oregon. Let me tell you first our governor gives drivers license’s to illegal’s and in my Opinion is the worst that we have ever had. Ask any Oregonians that are on the board here I think they will agree. If you have time take a peak.

Looks like a lot of Eugene - and California - people have moved to Medford.

Too bad. It used to be a nice place.

Yeah, I'm here to confirm it. Don't give up the ship just yet though.
Just for everyone else's benefit, the main opposing candidate for upcoming governor has a rather clever TV ad where they show a stop watch with a few seconds ticking away, and the narrator says: 'Go ahead, think of one thing Governor Kulongoski has done for Oregon" (or something pretty darn close).... I tried, and came up with nothing. There you go.
He has attended every funeral for each of our fallen soldiers in the state - I do respect that. Not particularly difficult, but time-consuming to be sure.

Mark my words! - Oregon will be one of the last to 'wake up' and deal with the problem! We're far too captive to our own political-correctness and we have thrown out the welcome mat and made things difficult to correct at this late stage. I keep fighting though.

And, the driver's license thing - almost killed me last winter.
Some people actually expect to drive around under bad road conditions (ice over snow), with lots of hills, driving a big old 2WD pickup with bald tires, no chains nor studded tires of course, and w/no weight in back end - eg. no traction.... and an inexperienced driver to boot and... geeez, one big disaster waiting to happen. Glad I was able to get out of the way in time!!!

There are still a few places left in Oregon worth habitating - but not as many as before. Just gotta know where they are. I'll try to reserve some space for you guys when the invasion becomes too much...

Bet those are the people who drive those rattly electric cars and talk about things like diversity and sustainable living, don't they?

Things have really changed in Oregon since I lived there.

Back then, it was "Don't Californicate Oregon", "You're Welcome to Visit, but then go Home".

When I was having gas service turned on at my house, the gas man suggested the I get my California plates changed "right away", if I didn't want damage done to my car.

Now, instead of Russians, Woodburn is full of illegals, and the new state motto must be "The More the Merrier".

Quite a change, I'd say.

Great Post AmericanE thanks and well said as always. Count I have been in Oregon for 44 years and Know exactly what you are saying. This used to be a great place where family values stood above all else and now its becoming the Meth Capital of Oregon. Very sad.

It all has changed here because the yuppy hippies have come up from Cali. We have been inundated with all sorts of new age garbage that has polluted the minds of people here and have had too many spineless politicians making decisions.

Oregon is great ,so long as you do not live in Multnomah county, which unfortunately we do. We get away from it as much as possible.

I hear Medford is a mecca for liberals American_made, so you know how we feel up here then.

Now eastern Oregon is looking pretty good to me right now. Used to live in Burns Oregon, and I bet they have little problems with folks crying about sustainable living and socialism over there!
