OFFICIAL THREAD: Is Paul Ryan a New World Order shill?

As much as I like Paul Ryan PERSONALLY and his nice family, and as much as I appreciate his overtures of fiscal conservatism (which is a debate MUCH NEEDED in our current political environment and I credit Romney for bringing it to the forefront), there are a lot of "red flags" in his past.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits."

    Matthew 7:15-19

RYAN'S RECORD AND HISTORY, WITH LINKS:

Ryan voted for the illegal Iraq War.
Ryan voted with George W. Bush 94% of the time.
Ryan voted for an emergency $78 billion for war in Iraq & Afghanistan.
Ryan voted "yea" on most, but not all, of Obama's stimulus bills.
Ryan voted "yea" on making the Patriot Act permanent.
Ryan voted "yea" on allowing electronic surveillance without a warrant.
Ryan voted for the big-government takeover of America's schools, No Child Left Behind.

Ryan voted for the HR 1540 -- the NDAA -- or National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012, the greatest rollback of civil liberties in American history, inspiring a "pull Ryan" anti-Paul Ryan site to implore him to oppose it as well as SOPA:

Bennett is a staunch supporter of the War on Drugs and has been criticized for his views on the issue. On Larry King Live, he said that a viewer's suggestion of beheading drug dealers would be "morally plausible." He also "lamented that we still grant them [drug dealers] habeas corpus rights."

On a personal note, Bill Bennett is one of the biggest pieces of warmongering, fascist trash I've ever seen in my life, based on my many years of watching this guy's career.

Ryan voted for the unconstitutional and illegal United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012.

"The bill provides Israel with a blank check drawn on the US taxpayer to maintain its 'qualitative military superiority' over all of its neighbors combined."

Getting to Know Paul Ryan, Presumptive VP Nominee

    Current Events

No doubt, the selection of Paul Ryan as Romney’s VP nominee will please many in the conservative base of the republican party. If you need any proof of this, head over to a liberal blog or twitter to watch the liberal pundits freak out–including David Frum, what a loser!! (Giuliani’s old campaign advisor).

Some guy from Esquire moans, “(Ryan) the zombie-eyed granny-starver from Wisconsin…”

Conservatives should remember, contrary to all the hype, Ryan’s budget didn’t actually make real cuts. Like everyone else (other than Ron Paul), his plan only cut projected future increases. If Ryan’s budget was fully implemented, it wouldn’t balance the budget until the year 2040!

Barack Obama and Mitt Romney call for gays to be allowed to join Boy Scouts

President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both called for homosexuals to be allowed to join the Boy Scouts of America as members and leaders.

    By Jon Swaine, Washington

The organisation last month affirmed its ban on openly homosexual scouts and leaders, following a two-year review of the long-standing policy.

Its decision prompted equality activists to urge Mr Obama to "reconsider" his position as honorary president of the organisation – a post held by every US president since 1910.

Taking his first public stand on the issue since taking office, Mr Obama "opposes this policy that discriminates on basis of sexual orientation", a White House spokesman said.

While hailing the scouts as a "valuable organisation that has helped educate and build character in American boys for more than a century", the President "also opposes discrimination in all forms," the spokesman added.

The statement put him in rare agreement with Mr Romney, his Republican opponent in November's election, who gave his support to homosexual scouts and leaders 18 years ago.

"All people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts, regardless of their sexual orientation," he said while running for the US Senate in Massachusetts in 1994.

A spokesman said that his position – which included respecting the right of the Scouts to decide its own policy – remained the same today.

Jay Carney, the White House press secretary, later reiterated Mr Obama's statement but confirmed he would not be reconsidering or renouncing his position as honorary president of the Boy Scouts.

Mitt Romney: Pioneering New Frontier in US Electoral Prostitution

    Posted on August 10, 2012

By Jamal Kanj / Veterans Today

Jamal Kanj argues that US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney’s stint at prostitution in Israel “broke a long held American taboo against seeking foreign money in US elections” and that “fundraising in foreign capitals could become the new frontier in US presidential campaign financing”.

US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has just ended an international tour intended to prop his political credentials as a world leader.

In the first leg of his trip, he angered the otherwise temperate Britons by voicing an unwarranted opinion on London’s readiness for the Olympic games.

His second gaffe soon followed during the now common US presidential campaign pilgrimage to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

During his next international stop, at a closed 50,000-dollar-a-plate fundraiser for Israeli sworn citizens and American donors, he credited Israel’s “providence “and “culture” for the economic disparity between Israelis and Palestinians.

Romney walked out of the small private event with one million dollars for his presidential campaign.

First, the per capita income figures he used bizarrely as a measure of cultural superiority were dead wrong.

Figures from the 2011 CIA World Factbook show that Israel’s per capita income was more than 10 times that of the Palestinians (31,400 versus 2,900 dollars ), not two-fold, as Romney stated.

Second, Israel must have furnished the gullible Romney with the incorrect data to show that Palestinians were doing better under occupation, or else to hide the striking inequality between the two so-called economies.

Being in the one per cent bracket of high US income earners, Romney must have been “provident” at making money and legally evading paying his fair share in income taxes – in 2010 – he paid 13.9 per cent of his income.

Mitt Romney: pioneering new frontier in US electoral prostitution

    By Jamal Kanj

“…Israel must have furnished the gullible Romney with the incorrect data to show that Palestinians were doing better under occupation, or else to hide the striking inequality between the two so-called economies.”

But he also comes across as obtuse in his understanding of the work of economic systems.

Economy is defined by various references as a “self-managed social system consisting of labour, capital and land resources involved in production, trades, distributions and consumption of goods and services” in a defined region.

The loss of control of any of these economic levers compromises sovereignty over the economy.

Israeli occupation policies inhibiting the development and operation of the fledgling Palestinian market have been the subject of many protests, including the European Union, World Bank institutions and UN and human rights bodies.

Speaking at a UN seminar in February, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Israeli “settlements and their infrastructure severely restrict access to land and natural resources by the Palestinian people”.

“…it came as no surprise to hear a racist remark from a disciple of the Church of Latter Day Saints which until 1978 did not allow black people to attend its services.”

The Israeli occupation has turned the Palestinian entity into a consumption economy, contributing directly to Israel’s economic prosperity.

Bluntly speaking, it came as no surprise to hear a racist remark from a disciple of the Church of Latter Day Saints which until 1978 did not allow black people to attend its services.

I had my encounter with this church’s teaching when several years ago a colleague shared with me the Book of Mormon.

I was astonished to discover that I, like the Lamanite tribe in the book, had a dark skin curse mark from God.

Romney’s dullard per capita gauge of superiority is, nevertheless, self-defeating.

In retrospect, every culture has enjoyed affluence while others, including within the same culture (e.g. East and West Germany, North and South Korea) did not.

In terms of economic ranking, Germany comes higher than Israel on Romney’s cultural benchmark. But, fortunately, Germany does not have wealthy donors motivated by a desire to manipulate US foreign policy and enticing Romney to come drivelling to Berliners on their superior culture.
But who knows? Romney could turn out to be a real pioneer. His Jerusalem fundraising broke a long held American taboo against seeking foreign money in US elections. Following his successful outsourcing career, fundraising in foreign capitals could become the new frontier in US presidential campaign financing.

Ron Paul Would Beat Obama: Why Romney Must Be Replaced If the GOP Hopes to Win in 2012

Submitted by celeste on Sat, 08/11/2012 - 08:58
    Daily Paul Liberty Forum

Throughout the Republican primaries, the Mitt Romney campaign did a fairly decent job at keeping Romney above the fray. He made the occassional $10,000 bet on national television and agreed with Obama's signing of the NDAA, but for the most part, he remained low key. It was his front-runner position to lose after all, right? Instead of critiquing the assumed front-runner, the mainstream media hyped up the "anti-Mitt" candidate. Newt Gingirch, Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum — who claimed "Romney was the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama,"then later endorsed Romney — were all considered top contenders. Now that the spotlight is focused on the presumptive nominee, his flaws are all too apparent. Is Romney really the best choice for conservatives?

The most recent gaffe by the Romney campaign involved spokeswoman Andrea Saul, who made the mistake of a lifetime by touting Romneycare in response to the recent controversial attack ad from a pro-Obama super PAC. "Conservatives" are freaking out. Both Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter have condemned Saul's impromptu response, even demanding the Romney campaign fire Saul. This just adds to Romney's troubles.

His 40% favorability mark for presumptive presidential nominees is the worst since 1948. Even the conservative group "Jews and Christians Together" released a memo advising delegates to abstain from voting for Romney on the crucial first ballot. Time is running short, and momentum is not in his favor. In order to defeat President Obama this November, the GOP must nominate the consistent conservative Ron Paul instead of the Goldman Sachs warmonger Mitt Romney.

Think about it. Does Mitt Romney have a base? And if he does, isn't it mostly those "anyone but Obama" voters? Without the support of the Paul faithful, the already-weak Romney faces a difficult challenge against the campaigner-in-chief Barack Obama, who will have plenty of ammunition to use against Romney in the debates. With so little difference between Romney and Obama, its hard to imagine Romney being able to gain the upper hand against the incumbent. The GOP needs to make a decision fast: continue with a struggling Romney, or choose an idealogically consistent champion of liberty to defeat Obama.

As I mentioned in a previous article, Barack Obama's promise of hope and change in 2008 did not deceive everyone. Even then Ron Paul asserted that Obama offered no change, and would only reinforce the status quo.

Dr. Paul would have an incredible advantage over President Obama in a debate. Obama's continuation of the same failed Keynesian policies that more often than not benefit campaign contributors hasn't revived the American economy. The wasteful spending overseas and the outright ignorance of the coming fiscal cliff, not to mention an impending dollar crisis, have put our country on a course to financial ruin. Doom and gloom, yes. But economic law cannot be repealed by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's magical printing press. Obama would be forced to defend his assault on civil liberties, his unconstitutional war on Libya, his defense of the banking establishment, his attacks on medicinal marijuana users and his overall involvement in the same type of crony capitalism that has resulted in a massive transfer of wealth to the politically connected.

Ron Paul has already won six states, and potentially more.

This means he will be on the ballot at the Republican Convention later this month. If the GOP can be convinced to nominate Paul, he could go on to combine the full support of the GOP with those disallusioned Obama supporters and Independents, who are tired of the wars and the failing economy, and become the 45th president of the United States.
