Our porous border

Yesterday an American Border Patrol employee watched as pickup truck entered the U.S. through a makeshift gate in the barbed-wire fence. The Border Patrol was called. They headed the truck off and chased it back south. It re-entered Mexico by crashing thought the "gate" without trying to open it first. The truck and, presumably, a load of drugs made it back safely to try again another time. ABP is working on the installation of an electronic virtual fence that will catch these events on camera.

Geez fellaws, don't ya think that would be a good place to deploy the NG to help build vehicle barriers?

I still want to know WHY our border can't be secured. Nothing else matters until that happens. I read an article yesterday where an illegal had been deported 17 times prior to being arrested yet again. 17 times!
