This story is on Glenn Beck right now.

"We're sitting ducks," said a border agent speaking on condition of anonymity. "The government has our hands tied."

OUR GOVERNMENT IS TYING OUR OWN HANDS. They need to be accountable.

Is this a recent event or an old report?
    When exactly did this happen?

    gov rick perry

In an unbelievable report on August 29th, Texas Republican Governor Rick Perry showed his support for illegal immigration by telling Mexico that America doesn't need a border fence and that those who oppose his point of view are guilty of "mean rhetoric". As a Texan by birth and all of my 72 years Ive lived in Texas, I'm shocked and angered at Perry's comments. Perry's latest conservative flip-flop shows that us citizens can not look to public office holders to uphold American law. we have a time of crimals in public office.

I think it should be on the front page every day until our Government takes action. We were invaded, by a foreign army. Unlike the "war on terror" this is a traditional invasion by an actual country. Our army should be marching on Mexico as we speak! No other president in history, including peanut Jimmy would have ignored such a bold attack!!!!!!!

    Armed standoff along U.S. border

By Sara A. Carter and Kenneth Todd Ruiz, Staff Writers
    Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

    January 24, 2006

Mexican soldiers and civilian smugglers had an armed standoff with nearly 30 U.S. law enforcement officials on the Rio Grande in Texas Monday afternoon, according to Texas police and the FBI.

Mexican military Humvees were towing what appeared to be thousands of pounds of marijuana across the border into the United States, said Chief Deputy Mike Doyal, of the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Department.

Mexican Army troops had several mounted machine guns on the ground more than 200 yards inside the U.S. border – near Neely's Crossing, about 50 miles east of El Paso – when Border Patrol agents called for backup. Hudspeth County deputies and Texas Highway patrol officers arrived shortly afterward, Doyal said.
