When I heard this it immediately made me think of Bush and Obama. Both of those guys attempted to play us by doing things to make them seem serious about halting illegal immigration and stopping it from coming in the future. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act, done some business raids, and increased border patrol agent numbers. Obama on the other hand tried deporting a lot of people early on thinking that would make the American public think he was serious about enforcing immigration law. Of course he gave up after the "gang of eight" failure and did everything in his power to gut federal law enforcement.

Could it be that President Trump is doing the exact same thing, but doing it in a different way. He came out running with tough talk and executive orders. Is his goal really the same as the two former President's plan ........ Comprehensive immigration Reform (amnesty)? He could see that as a huge feather in his cap since both Bush and Obama failed at it.

If he does something like what is described in this article we will have to drop our endorsement for him.

If true, Republican Trump will place millions of people in the democrat voting bloc. Dreamers and their children will carry on with their socialist agenda and demands. What about parents? Will they get legalization?

If the people checking the dreamers are sympathetic to them as has been shown, they will excuse so much, overlook crimes, etc. Obama's people are still there.

This is what I mean when I say the government can't do it alone - maybe I should say 'won't' do it.

We need to come up with some united effort to work against this. We are outnumbered. When you realize half this country says they think it's a good idea to allow illegals - or anyone - entrance, we are already in trouble. You then realize the entire media - news and entertainment media is against us. We then have the illegals, themselves, who are against us. We are severely outnumbered. Realize, also, we have the world players - like Soros - spending billions to destroy us and our country.
We have legions against us -

We need to begin to do something besides talk about and to politicians.

We have to put our money where our hearts are. It will take some effort - but at least we will be doing something. We will probably save some money while we are at it.

Being reported that he believes we trust him on security so he can do this to us and we will accept it. The base will go along.

The stock market didn't like it either. As soon as Paul Ryan had his stupid press conference this morning, the market dropped almost 50 points. The market drops every time Ryan has a press conference. The market started to climb back up then this news came out and dropped back down another 20, but it was so close to 4 pm, it stopped because the dow jones closed.

So he blew his own chance to break the record since 1897. Way to shoot yourself in the foot, Trump. All over a bunch of illegal aliens working for drug cartels. Well, you're a grown man and should have known the fall-out. You've lost your base, you've lost your leverage, you just pissed it all to the wind over people that would just as soon cut your head off with a machete than have to look at you.

Dumber than Dumb is all I can say.

President Trump may urge lawmakers to pass a compromise immigration reform bill during his speech to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night, a senior administration official told television network anchors who met with the president.
Trump believes a major immigration bill is necessary but would require "a softening on both sides. There's got to be a coming together,” the official said, according to CNN.
Under the ground rules agreed upon by the reporters who met with the president, the official who spoke about Trump's stance on immigration would not be named.
Trump envisions a proposal that would allow some undocumented immigrants live and work in the U.S. without fear of deportation, but would stop short of offering them a pathway to citizenship.
Asked about the reports, White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said: “I do know that the president has been very clear in his process that the immigration system is broken and needs massive reform and he’s made it clear that he is open to discussions on that moving forward.” Sanders said she was not in the room when the senior White House official made the comment.
Such a move would be a departure from the hardline stance on illegal immigration Trump has taken thus far in his presidency.
At Trump’s direction, the federal government adopted strict new rules intended to ramp up deportations of immigrants living illegally in the U.S. He also handed down an executive order temporarily banning travel and immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations, which was later blocked by a federal court. Trump has said he will unveil a new proposal soon.
Three of the guests who are sitting in first lady Melania Trump's box for the president's speech are relatives of people killed by undocumented immigrants.
Pushing for a comprehensive reform bill could anger his base, which favors a get-tough approach on illegal immigration. But Trump reportedly believes he could make both sides happy.
Trump flirted with a comprehensive immigration bill earlier this month, when he told a group of bipartisan senators he was interested in them working on a bill.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer later denied Trump was open to a measure like the Gang of Eight bill from 2013, which would have offered a pathway to citizenship in exchange for enhanced border security measures.

Wow, this is really bad news. If this is true, Trump is seriously underestimating a lot of his base on their position on illegal immigration amnesty!

The gold ring was so close, but now it could actually be slipping away!

If Trump pushes for a compromise bill to legalize illegals tonight, I'll despise the man forever! Unfortunately, as most of you know, I've feared this very thing all along. I never fully trusted him, but I was hoping for the best. Trump has always been consistent in his failure to stay focused on a single message. He may be allowing his advisers to sway him or he may just be hating all the negative media he's been getting from the mainstream media. Honestly, I believe Trump is listening to folks like Priebus more than he should!
