03-16-2015, 07:28 AM #16If it's not illegal for pregnant foreign nationals to give birth on US soil, why is concealing a pregnancy when applying for an entry visa illegal? Why are women tourists questioned about such a private matter? If they answer yes, will their visa be denied? This just shows how screwed up our practices are on this issue. It's no one's business if a pregnant woman is traveling to the US for tourism, business or medical services. The only issue that is our business is whether or not the person intends to claim US citizenship for the newborn, and this should be denied, absolutely, and because it's not being denied, we need Vitter's or King's bill to stop this nonsense that would deny US citizenship for children born in the US, except for citizens and legal permanent residents, and we need that bill now, not because we want to change the 14th Amendment, but to bring government action and practices in line with the 14th Amendment, so it is only granting automatic birthright citizenship to those under our jurisdiction which are US citizens and legal permanent residents, no one else.Under US law, although it is not illegal for pregnant foreign nationals to give birth on US soil, it is illegal to conceal a pregnancy when applying for an entry visa.
It is also our business if there is a cost associated with the pregnancy that sticks US taxpayers with the bill, and again, such pregnancy services under Medicaid should be denied. In fact, all pregnancy services should be denied under Medicaid except for US citizens and legal permanent residents who were pregnant before they or their spouse lost a job. Medicaid rules need to be changed to restrict this medical coverage to these persons in these situations only.
A fair question for any visa, student, tourist or otherwise could be do you have any medical condition that could result in medical services needed in the US during your stay for which you have no funds to pay for? This is a fair and reasonable question that could and should be asked of anyone wishing to enter the US. In fact, I would imagine that there is already some question about medical issues in the visa entry process, so there's no fair reason to pry into a woman's private affairs concerning a condition the result of which is legal under US law. That is discrimination against women. And to be making a big deal about this over Chinese women, when millions of pregnant Caucasian illegal aliens, most of them Hispanic or Latino women pour over the bordesr either pregnant at the time or pregnant soon after they arrive are "welcomed" and offered deferred action, amnesty, automatic birthright citizenship for the newborns without question, and then given legal permanent residence to raise their anchor baby, and then chain migration for the rest of the family without question, is race discrimination by the US government.
To stop any of it, you must stop all of it, not select one race to pick on for immigration law violations while giving another the Moon and Medicaid when they violated US immigration law as well. It all has to stop without regard to race. And even picking on the businesses that provide the services to the Chinese women is a stretch, because all the illegal aliens were brought here by drug cartels and their human smuggling operations who are guilty of tax evasion, immigration fraud, drug offenses, money laundering, social welfare fraud, and on and on and on and on. And also to focus on what appears to be the primary concern which is tax fraud is laughable in my opinion, when the illegal alien group is advocated and promoted and protected and perhaps even funded by these tax fraud 501 C 3 "charities" that are costing the US billions every year in income tax through the phony tax deductible donations. The feds seem obsessed with the fact that the Chinese couple running these birthing tourism businesses have a Bentley and a BMW. Oh big woopie. I worked for a business for awhile, who had an owner who had a Bentley and a Porsche to show off to his clients when he couldn't pay his office rent on time.
The compelling issues are these:
1. Automatic birthright citizenship to children of non-citizens who are not legal permanent residents. This needs to stopped and stopped now, which will stop all the ilk and nonsense that accompanies this outrageous practice by the US government that has in effect made a pure mockery of US citizenship. NumbersUSA has been working to stop this outrage for years and it's time Congress listened and took action.
2. Medicaid payments associated with the delivery of children born to non-citizens and non-legal permanent residents using the automatic birthright citizenship practice to qualify these births for coverage. This is pure madness, has been going on for years and years and it must stop and stop now. Medicaid shouldn't even be paying for deliveries of US children, because people who qualify for Medicaid on assets and income should not be having children they can't afford to raise. This is pure stupidity by Medicaid. Medicaid pregnancy services need to be restricted to citizens and legal permanent residents who were pregnant before they lost a job or their spouse lost a job and should only cover that pregnancy, not future ones.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
