J & K feel that this is going to be Obama's plan, to have the IRS go after a few companies here and there before he attempts amnesty.

Oh good, this gives me something to listen to later tonight when there is nothing on TV.

Here's the problem with not going after and deporting the workers...Americans understand the concept of peaceful free speech...

Our politicians have made these people so brazen you just mark my words...when they can not get jobs in the U.S. anymore, they are going to start protesting and rioting in the streets, they throw tantrums when they don't get their way , and now they feel they have a right to do that in this country....they have been led to believe they have a right to be here and a right to Americans jobs.

"We killed ourselves on the assembly lines for years, many of us have injuries from repetitive motion," said Bohemia Agustiano, 38, a mother of four from Huntington Park. "Now we're worth nothing. We're out on the streets. This is unjust, no one should be treated this way."
Wrongo! Every illegal invader should be treated that way!

Boy, they do like to wear the color red. There must be more going on at the plant then is being reported. Most employers ignore the no-match provisions. Especially since the 9th circuit upheld appeals to water it down last year.
    287(g) + e-verify + SSN no match = Attrition through enforcement

Check out most pictures of any "May Day" protest normally wearing red seems to be the socialist, Marxist, commie team colors.

    Factory Workers Devastated?

I have read the entire article over and read every comment and my sentiments were expressed quite well by my fellow forum members.

I posted on another thread earlier about the PA Motor Vehicle Department's decision to begin discontinuing issuing driver's licenses to anyone who does not HAVE a Social Security number, not to mention having one, albiet it being an invalid/stolen/artificially reproduced copy or incidence of identity theft. The fact I read that they had previously been allowed to get a driver's license without a SSN floored me!

The illegals are raising a fit. The above is just a comparison to this thread and my opinion is that for some reason, (and I find this amongst illegals in certain neighborhoods in the county I live in) these folks believe they are ENTITLED to our $10.00+ jobs when there are hundreds of thousands of our own citizens out of work and losing their homes.

I see I'm getting OT but I'm extremely passionate about these issues and get damm mad. One thing I noticed looking at the front page of the newspaper article (forgetting the token, told- to- look-pitiful child placement of course), and observing these folks in their surroundings, they don't appear to be starving.

Our government refuses to take priority of its responsibilities of it's own citizens and appears to be leaning on the wrong side of this very heated issue. We must not let Amnesty get passed under any circumstance. It was beaten back in 2006 and 2007, we sure as heck better beat it back this time around.

Exactly. Obama admin will allow a few of these higher profile enforcement cases, with images in the media of the invaders protesting, so Americans will think they're actually enforcing immigration laws, then they'll pass amnesty, all the while claiming they've stepped up enforcement.

You can't fool us. NO amnesty, not now, not ever, not under any conditions. Give it up.

One would think these people would have just gone on their merry way, GRATEFUL they were not deported. BUT NO, they have the audicity to protest in front of Overhill Farms DEMADING their jobs back! Of course the signs are in spanish as well. Some things never change !!!

Does this look like a group of people hiding beneath the shadows? Do these people look to be in any imminent danger of being deported? Do they look like they fear being deported? Do they look like they are here to assimilate???

These are millitant invaders who are invading this country and have not one ounce of shame in doing so! God only knows who many other Overhill Farms there are operating in the LA area - full of illegal invaders who have absolutley no fear of being deported!
    Well put. Good points.

They do NOT have ANY shame. They are brainwashed to believe they actually have MORE rights than U.S. citizens, and they are rewarded every step of the way for this kind of outrageous behavior.

The United States Government and all its officials should be sued, how many other companies are employing illegals who are committing identify fraud. Think of the heartache this will cause the real owners of these Social Security numbers. Totally ridiculous, the American public should be in the streets marching against this mass stealing of SS#’s and this fraud. Each and every one of these people with stolen or fraudulent SS#’s should be prosecuted, just like I would be if I used a bad SS#’s and the people of this country should be up in arms if these fraudulent users of SS#’s are not prosecuted.
