He'll need to hear from Americans who support him early on.
Agreed, we need to give Rep. Hunter the confidence that comes with knowing you're supported by a huge segment of the population. We need Hunter to get a running start out of the blocks!
I haven't checked him out from A to Z but I have done quite a bit of checking and he seems to be a top notch guy.

Kate also did some checking and hasn't come up with anything negative to date that I know of.

HUNTER could have the proverbial 'dark horse' chance! Especially if he does get that running start out of the blocks.

** The other positive that can certainly come out of supporting him early is bringing the ILLEGAL INVASION front and center in the correct light and not in the mccain/kennedy comprehensive double speak!!

I do think with Duncan Hunter in the mix he'll force others to talk about the subjects of illegal immigration and the North American Union. That in itself would be a very good thing for this country. Most politicians don't want to talk about those issues as we know.

I called Hunter's office about 3 weeks ago asking if he was seriously running for President because I wanted to donate and he didn't have a website and they couldn't tell me where to donate yet. They assured me he would, soon...

All the money is apparently going to McCain and I was reading on NRO predictions that Guiliani is not going to run and will throw support behind McCain.

It's going to take a lot to make Hunter happen...

I'm game to call his office. Just made a note to do that Tuesday. Let's get the ball rolling.

    Did you check this out?

    Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA):

    http://profiles.numbersusa.com/improfil ... &VIPID=133

    Compared to Rep. Tom Tancredo:

    http://profiles.numbersusa.com/improfil ... &VIPID=146

Note: Hunter and Tancreado voting records are identical, with one exception. That item, the foreign nurse guestworker program, was voted on in 1996. That's not near enough to turn me off to Rep. Hunter. I dare anyone to find me a stronger anti-illegal immigrant voting record fom the candidates we know about so far (don't bother, I've already checked and there isn't one).

Lol, months ago. Fyi: I don't put too much stock in those records. They're missing too many votes that are important. They're just my jumping off point when I'm researching Congress.
