If he truly believed in enforcing the law, he could take action against all those who use fake DL. His oath allows and demands he does just that.

Also if a federal bank robber came through his county - would he not have time to stop and detain them.

How about a terrorists?

I sort of skimmed this, but my first reaction was to the statement, 'if they are in this country illegally AND are committing crimes'. Isn't coming here and all the laws that are broken just by being here, working, driving, etc., not enough broken laws, for him to think they should be returned?, even if he feels he is not able to do it.

Forgive me if I don't think he has any desire to help with the problem.
