....racist, hate speech....as set forth and studied by the Chicano Studies Department at UCLA....yeah, that has a lot of credibility. Just having a "Chicano Studies" department is ethno-centric and racist in and of itself. Give me a break, por favor.

Here's a gem of a new course offered in this department...and remember our taxpayer dollars fund this stuff....and just what will a "Chicano Studies" graduate do upon graduation.....be a "community agitator"...or professional race-baiter or work in any number of leftist, socialist, ethno-centric, gov't funded non-profits?

Well Now what a surprise!

I have long listened to the news, Fox news mainly, and Lou Dobbs. I have lived among illegal aliens, of Latino descent and have made up my own mind regarding their status and my feelings towards them.

I have learned, and taught my kids to make sure they/myself, do not rush to judgment on someone. We do not assume if someone speaks Spanish, that they are illegally here. We give people a chance to show themselves to be good and trustworthy, or not. We also realize that although someone may be here illegally, and we do not agree with this, we have found some yet to be kind people.

I feel assured that all Americans who have been in this fight, also have learned much of the same lessons and have the same feelings.

These racist, ethno-centric groups are doing to us, exactly what they want to accuse us of doing to illegal aliens, of Latino descent. My mother once taught me something. When you point one finger in accussation at someone, there are three more pointing back at you.....(your own fingers). The lesson was that not one of us can claim perfection and certainly not these groups who work under such names as "Chicano Studies", National Council of La Raza...etc..

These groups would like free speech to work only for themselves and want to silence everyone else. From what we have seen in the past, they have tried numerous methods to silence us all, and this is just another one of their ploys to get things the way they want them, because they can bring NOTHING to the table of debate that has any substance about the issue of illegal immigration. They know they have no good argument and their accusations of trying to publicly call out "racist, xenophobe" and all else has not worked, so now they attempt to use the courts and government simply to silence the side of the debate they do not want to hear.

You are right "AE" it is not news or radio, people are living it and seeing it everyday and from that are making thier own conclusions. I guarentee you more Americans are being harmed by illegals then the other way around.

Sosad, so right. We have seen, here, a way of life I do not understand. It is about a standard of living that most of us, if not all Americans, do not share with those here illegally.

There is a total "dysfunctionality" in the thinking that governs their lives, and now taints our own society.

I look to what is going on in Mexico, with the drug cartels and the amount of military, police and government people who are on the payrolls of the cartels and also the average people down there that seem to think working with them, moving drugs across the border for them, is a viable way to make a living.

All of that shows me that their society as a whole, is tainted with corruption on most levels and then it comes here with the illegal aliens. It is just something we do not need, we already have our own insane or criminally minded to deal with.

Not to mention we don't use our front lawns as parking lots, live 20 to a single family home, litter, spray paint our building etc. In other words most of us take pride in our neighborhoods that these people don't give a damn about...we call it community living, and take pride in our communities.
