Someone posted on another thread around $5,000 a "bun" and that's when it's simple and nothing goes wrong. When it goes wrong it can be in the $100,000 of dollars. Preemies, operations, mother complicatons, this is very serious medical business because it's the health of two, or more...mom, baby, twins, triplets.

I would say at the VERY LEAST it would cost that much. It's been a LONG time since I've had a baby or one born to my sons but that sounds like a LOW ESTIMATE to me. Of course, I don't GUESS they are getting pre-natal care tossed into the bargain but I wouldn't SWEAR that they weren't. If they are getting that too, it would be CONSIDERABLY higher. And, you would think that just spending ONE NIGHT in the hospital plus a doctor's bill PLUS an anesthesiologist PLUS a pediatrician and then if there were any complications, the figures would be MUCH HIGHER. YEP--they are BURNING US A NEW ONE.
