I hear you!! Wow!! But, you're right. I was married to a computer software designer. I just listened and said, "Right.....that's good Honey"! We're divorced but still best friends.

    Judy.

You can type that into your search bar for retreival and review.

Until Section One ot the 14th Amendment is successfully challenged, Federally defined immigrant status IS germane to North Carolina's in-state tuition situation, and hovers over it like a cloud.

Because the American born children of illegal aliens are, by Federal definition, American citizens, they cannot be denied in-state tuition so long as state residency requirements have been met.

So, I believe that we should never frame the issue as one of denying in-state tuition for the 'children of illegal aliens', but rather the argument should always be one of denying such a benefit to all illegal aliens, regardless of their age or parentage.

When we inadvertently include American citizens (however much we like what the 14th Amendment has wrought) then we open ourselves up to endless sniping by the other side.

I've been to the numbers website, and others. Good info, but until that section of the 14th Amendment is challenged...

Bobb: Sure I understand and agree. I never refer to them as "children" of illegal aliens. I simply refer to them as illegal aliens. We don't know anything about who they are; how old they are; who their parents are; if they have parents here; and by the time they enter college, they are full-fledged adults. Exercising their rights as American Citizens, should any be, is up to them.

The Governor announced today that HB 1183, the In-State Tuition Bill is in violation of federal law.

Which of course any benefit to illegal would of course be.

    Big Day!!

    We're rolling!.

    Later...
