That is ridiculous, especially now that we know the back-log for deportation hearings is years long, 8 to 9 years, based on DOJ's deportation annual figures of around 87,000 and the over 1,000,000 already in line waiting for the hearing. These children need to be treated as runaways, child abandonment, trafficking and kidnap victims and turned over to their country's Consulate for return to their country at their expense.

That's insane. Texas "and other states" have lost their minds. According to your article the unaccompanied minors program costs US taxpayer over $1.2 billion a year. None of these children should qualify for foster care, they should be transported immediately to the nearest Consulate of their country, left there for immediate removal and processing to their home country by the Consulate of that country at its expense.

After Bush I for 4 years, Clinton for 8 years, Bush II for 8 years and Obama for 8 years which is 28 years of ignorant, stupid, globalist, anti-American administrations, the degree of insanity this has generated in our justice and immigration systems is mind-boggling, stunning, dangerous and has to be fixed.

This all just reinforces my belief that this is a problem that has to be stopped by the home countries and Trump has to use aid and trade sanctions to force them to do it, what I call my Plan B.

Plan B:

Tell all these countries, if your citizens do not stop entering the US illegally, then your country will have no aid from or trade with the United States. Period.

It's that simple when you use diplomacy. It's called a trade embargo. The border is closed to them and the goods and services listed on the trade restriction list. We know how to do this, we do it to Cuba and Puerto Rico. We're doing it to Iran, North Korea and Russia. We know how to do this, Americans do not know how to work through this maze of phony laws and dishonest bureaucratic open borders policies and regulations that are designed and implemented to do the exact opposite of they're supposed to do.

When Trump gets back and settled in from Helsinki and clears a few things from his plate, he must get Navarro, Lighthizer, Ross, Miller, Mnuchin, Mulvaney and Pompeo in a room and draft this Executive Order for various levels of Trade Embargoes with varying start dates for the violating countries, based on national security, which authorizes military action at ports and borders to enforce it.

How can countries like Iran, North Korea and Russia take the US seriously when we can't even keep a bunch of illegal aliens out of our country? It's a national disgrace what is going on with immigration. We know Congress isn't the solution, we know the Courts aren't the solution. We know DOJ and DHS aren't the solution. The White House has to take full command and control of this problem and solve it through its national security, trade and aid powers. This group can work out the details in a manner that limits economic harm to the US, while exerting the maximum pressure on the citizens of these countries. It is their obligation to solve the problem they alone cause, not ours. Our only responsibility is to ourselves, our best interest and using all means available to force these countries to stop a problem they alone cause.

Trump doesn't have the solution. Trump is part of the problem.

As I understand it, Trump wanted a zero tolerance policy, what he wanted was "we're closed", keep them out, get them out, what he's been handed by DOJ and DHS is a DOJ AMNESTY, a department with sole authority under the law for deportations that fails to deport. Why should we either fund such an absurdity or accept that as a reasonable immigration policy for the United States?

When Trump gets back and has time to refocus on immigration, I am confident that he will say, this is stupid, doesn't work, we need a new plan, which he certainly does. I have offered one, Plan B. Perhaps there will be other ideas that work better and faster, but that is my suggestion to use diplomacy and a sole power he has that doesn't involve these immigration control agencies, but involves national security, trade and aid. Minimize the cost to Americans, maximize the cost to the countries whose citizens violate our immigration laws. Seems like a good plan to me.

Your PLAN B isn't real. It's all in your imagination. No politician, appointee or government employee is ever going to see it or hear about it. They just don't go to the internet to get unsolicited advice from unqualified strangers. The real world just doesn't work that way.
