No. The case, U.S. v. Arizona, et al., has been docketed as 10-1413, and has been assigned to District Judge Neal V. Wake of Phoenix.

    This might be good news.

A federal judge on Friday refused to block the Jan. 1 implementation of an Arizona law that penalizes businesses that knowingly employ illegal immigrants.

U.S. District Judge Neil Wake denied requests for a temporary restraining order or an emergency injunction to block the law from taking effect.

Wake said that those who would suffer the most from blocking the law would be legal low-skill workers who lose jobs and get depressed wages due to competition from illegal immigrants.

No. The case, U.S. v. Arizona, et al., has been docketed as 10-1413, and has been assigned to District Judge Neal V. Wake of Phoenix. . .

This now means that there are 2 judges that can block 1070 instead of just one. Either of them has the athority.

YES. I was asking if the Federal suit would also be combined with the other suits. But now we know it has been assigned to a different judge.

I THINK EVERY GOVENOR IN THE REST OF THE 50 STATES NEED TO BACK THIS GOVENOR. IF THE FEDS WERE DOING THEIR JOB, THEN ARIZONA WOULD NOT HAVE TO BE TRYING TO ENACT THIS LAW. BUT NO, OBAMA IS DETERMINED THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO ENFORCE THE LAW UNLESS HE GETS AMNESTY FOR HIS ILLEGALS. HE SHOULDN'T MAKE PROMISES THAT HE KNEW HE COULD NOT KEEP. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY AND HE ACT AS THOUGH ITS THIS IS HIS COUNTRY ALONE

Peter Nunez, former U.S. Attorney in southern CA., said in a local TV news interview that AZ 1070 is constitutional, in his opinion.

o-damn-na is not going to stop doing all he can to try to stop any enforcement of laws against illegal immigration and he is going the extra mile to do his best to make sure amnesty is passed. And I don't think he is adverse to using force against the citizens who do not support his agenda.

    The disgusting forked tongue liar.

Jan Brewer is one gutsy lady but it's going to take a lot more guts from the other state leaders if he is to be stopped. Where are they? Hiding behind the skirts of governer Brewer waiting to see if she gets smacked down before they decide to do anything. We have far too many forked tongued cowards in top state government positions now.

I fear for what is going to happen if o-damn-na succeeds at his agenda here. It will not be good.

(I cannot even stand to see or listen to obama and I'm not capitalizing his name for a reason. Despots do not deserve to have their names respected!)
Yes we will most certainly be at war if we cant get the traitors out of office.

    It's getting bad.
