We still have a few Democrats that stands with Republicans on the immigration issue, so there is a possibility Senator Landrieu will do as she has expressed she will do to combat illegal immigration.

I was thinking of her Senate Seat which she knows for sure she will lose if she is not tough on IA's.

Landrieu voted against the Amnesty Bill in 2007 so there is hope.

Its not easy to run as an independant and if the democrat party boots her out of their coffers she's gonna be struggling to keep her seat even more as she already has some bad marks.
