Twenty-four U.S. states report that their revenues are being
hit by the current housing slump. An estimated 2 million
families are on the verge of losing their homes in coming
months. Meanwhile, banks and financial companies are looking
out for their own interests. We’ll take a look at the mortgage

Lobbyists are pressuring Congress to expand the H-2B visa
program, which allows foreign workers to come here for short
stints in peak seasons. Technology companies, nursing groups,
and hotel owners are among those saying they could face labor
