Actually it seems like most of them will not be armed because the majority of them will not be working in positions requiring self-defense. They will be working in a support capacity without any noticeable interaction with illegal aliens. Nothing really seems to have changed from the previous deployments to the border. Don't understand how you see it any differently considering you're reading the same material I am.

LOL!! The troops aren't going to be anywhere they won't need arms for self-defense. Did you think they were going to be secretaries answering the telephone? Uuuh, no, they're going to be on the border right along side or in near proximity to Border Patrol. Border Patrol will be doing the paperwork and answering the telephones and driving the illegal aliens all around to the hospital and detention, our military doesn't know how to do BPP paperwork or where the hospitals and detention centers are, BP knows all of that, the military will be on the border doing what it knows how to do.

Most of them will not be armed! It has been reported that they will have no contact with illegal aliens in the field. They will be there in a support capacity only. Do you understand what that means? They will be installing and repairing fencing, performing vehicle maintenance, operating surveillance systems, assisting in processing, etc., etc. What they won't be doing is apprehending illegal aliens, confronting drug mules, performing armed patrols along the border, etc. They are not authorized to make arrest. That job will be left exclusively to the Border Patrol. I could list a host of sources from the recent news that is being reported but I'm sure you've heard and read the same things I'm have.

What you describe is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. But if you believe it, that's fine with me.
