    The phrase "Are you out of your Vulcan mind?" seems appropriate.

    Another reason to be sure we are at the Tea Parties, with signs about illegal immigration and taxes. I was ambivalent before about being overt at Tea Parties about immigration. But know I'm MORE scared these traitorous fools will try the amnesty crap this year, and if they are testing the water now as USPatriot suggests, we need to be as vocal and visable as possible.

    Twenty comments this morning. Let's see how many by tonight...

    Last night the title of the article was;

    Obama to Push Immigration Bill as One Priority

    and this morning it changed to;

    Obama to Make Immigration Bill a Priority Despite Risks

    *****Most of the comments are of of course against this. BUT go see which comment is highlighted in blue as the editor's choice as "the most interesting and thoughtful comment that represents the most range of views." EVEN though most of the comments are against this. Supports the new ownership eh???

    YOu have to go check this out.

    This nation has always run on the industrious immigrants who venture here.

    These are the cream of the crop from other countries. These are the people who unlike their neighbors, had the wherewithal, energy, and motive to get up, leave everything and everyone, and come here to make something of themselves. They often left their family behind so they could come here and make enough money to send back and make a better life for their family back at home.

    I have never met any more motivated people than the immigrants I know. We should do everything in our power to make sure America is open to these people because without them, we are nothing.

    because it goes with the Times' and their love for the illegal alien and wanting them to have amnesty and be able to stay and bring over all 200 family members

    The time is now! Everyone knows that the immigration system is woefully obsolete and the country has been clamoring for the federal govt to reform immigration. Let's all come together and figure out a solution that's practical, realistic, and that's consistent with our highest aspirations and upholds our shared American values. Let's start a real conversation, a real debate, and figure out a real solution that works for all Americans.

    We know how so many politicians and media pundits take advantage of this emotionally charged issue, and resort to angry rants, but this doesn't help the country. What America needs is a rational set of solutions that protect all workers in America, that reduces illegal immigration, that makes families and workers already here get in line and earn their way toward citizenship by paying penalties, fines, taxes and getting right by the law. We need a system that immigrants need to go through, not around. We need a sensible solution, and the only way to get there is for all of us to ask our legislators to stop the political bickering and get down to real discussions, meaningful debates, and negotiations.

    The federal govt must reform immigration for the economic recovery to make sense for all American working families and businesses.

    I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

    Well, technically when I checked it Richard the comments were at 20 and it was not there.

    So I did not miss it.

    This is getting interesting. Thank you NYT for highlighting Shuya's comment. Let's see throughout the day what else they highlight.
