Thread: Response to Rep. Tancredo inquiry on the SPP

Back in June, Tom Tancredo demanded that the Bush administration fully disclose the activities of the SPP that could lead to a North American Union despite having no authorization from Congress.

The vague and useless response received from the Department of Commerce about the Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America is now posted on Tancredo's Immigration Reform Caucus web site. If a US Rep. cannot get a clear, detailed response, who can?

Here is the "statement" about the "partnership" back in March 2005.

There may not be a "signed" agreement, but there IS an agreement....that is what a "Partnership" is. It may be verbal with tons of back up "work documents".... to support that verbal agreement but there is a Pact, a Partnership, and in the United States...that's an "agreement".

And in their "Myth vs. Fact" sheet...study the words carefully.

A word game to deceive.

It's the most clever scam I've ever seen.

If you have a jar of lemon juice, a jar of lime juice, and a jar of seltzer water...you have 3 distinct entities.

When you pour them all into one big jug...what happens?

You have SPRITE.

You no longer have lemon juice (Mexico) or lime juice (Canada) or seltzer water (USA).

No....those entities no longer exist. They have been merged with each other.

You now have a carbonated lemon/lime drink that you can never undo or ever separate the original items from if you wanted to because they no longer exist...they've been mixed, blended, stirred, absorbed, and permanently and irreversibly altered into a new substance.

The fact sheet also talked about new regulations that would be open to "public comment".

You know what they are talking about? They aren't talking about Congressional Hearings. They are talking about the comment period for new regulations posted on the Federal Register.

Now we're going to have to track the Federal Register to know what's going on.

You know what we need to do?

We need to have a Congressional Hearing NOW on the SPP...call all the Commerce boys and girls in, call the White House in, call in the "Ministers" and their work groups in, call in the 10 CEOS serving on the NACC...North American Competitive Council who are at this moment submitting their "proposals", get them UNDER OATH and ask them all about their "activities" and "work" we've paid for during the past 2 years. We also need to call in the Consulates and "team members" from Canada and Mexico....by Congressional Subpoena if necessary.

This needs to be exposed and disclosed to the American People and Congressional Hearings are the best way to do that...to get the MSM to cover it and NPR...get it on the television nightly news....we need to do this immediately.

Would Tom organize the Congressional Hearing? Maybe we'll or as many as possible go and jam the room...this is one Hearing we need to be at "en masse"....because it is Open Borders.

Here's more on the Initiatives. Some of these are the beginning stages as the words imply further work, more regulations, and "collaboration".

It looks like merger to me. Airlines, shipping, roads, border traffic, health, environment, pipelines, infrastructure, nuclear, energy....it's definitely a framework for merger and union.

Hey, I hear you! What a bunch of pure sleaziness -

Having had a job where I scanned the FR several times a week for every bizarre new item or update to previous items, I can say that announcing something so important in such an inconspicuous way is the ultimate in sleaze. The fact that ALL international agreements are supposed to be ratified by the Congress - and wasn't - is a point Tom and the good folks in the Congress should be screaming about each and every day!!!

Not all people follow this topic so closely - I'm glad that you do.

Oh, BTW - was channel flipping on the idiot box earlier today and happened to catch a brief snippet of an interview of Tucker Carlson and Kinky Friedman on MSNBC. Kinky mentioned how the actual path of the Texas Transcorridor (can't remember the name offhand) is still unknown and that he wished someone in government could tell him - and everyone else - where the thing is to be located. Hooorah ! I thought. Good man. And, on national TV to boot.

Judy, I agree. We need to push for hearings to expose this. So, should we start slamming our congressmena nd senators with calls and faxes to demand that hearings be set up, especially before the election?
