They go to SC to be able to hide from immigration authorities, so they know they have done something wrong. And what sort of future should these kids be taught they have in this country illegally? Their only future should be back in the country where they came from, and if they strive there, they can apply for a visa to come as an international student.
Why these kids should be given any more consideration than our own is beyond me.

Children who come to the United States when they are young should not be punished for the mistakes of their parents

    Why Not?????

Has American Children been damaged by the invasion of illegals? How can anyone in their right mind say, "NO".

Oh the rich culture b/s you will hear. Rich for sure for a select few elite in the country (Corporate World).

Reading to see the differences in cultures should be reintroduced, and travel should be left up to parents.

South Carolina along with a few other states such as Arizona and Oklahoma have decided to stand up against the invasion by the ILLEGALS. Other states will "benefit" from the rush of the ILLEGALS to their states to further drain their resources.

Of course the more the Elitist Special Interest Groups financially benefit from the ILLEGALS the more money that is poured into the coffers of the Elitist Politicians to support the ILLEGALS but this is really not new, the Chamber of Commerce has always been working in support of the ILLEGALS. The ILLEGALS are comfortable with pushing ahead of everyone else including U.S. Citizens who do not receive the same preferential treatment in all areas. U.S. Citizens have already lost "entry level" jobs to the ILLEGALS and the opportunity that is presented to build on the foundation of the "entry level" jobs that our Elitist Politicians and their Elitist Contributors have granted to the ILLEGALS.

I am so sick and tired of hearing that line. TOUGH. Let her be angry at her illegal alien parents because its not our fault. We dont owe these kids anything. Americans were FORCED to pay for their education from k-12th grade because of some stupid bill passed without our consent. No more. Take your families and get out.
According the Open Borders Lobby the children "should not be punished for the mistakes of their parents", and neither should the illegal parents. In fact, they should all be rewarded with the Dream Act and amnesty. And the American people should be punished for the mistakes of the illegal parents! After the American people have already been punished by paying for their entire public education and more!!!

He said students can demonstrate their status in many ways, including the presentation of a driver’s license, a passport or a birth certificate. The registrar’s office will verify status and, if an illegal immigrant is enrolled, the student will be reported to immigration authorities, Grigsby said.
See how easy it is! This should be the protocol on EVERY college campus across this country!

[quote]Jonathan Blazer, a public benefits policy attorney with the National Immigration Law Center, said South Carolina’s law banning illegal immigrants from college is so extreme that only a few states would consider it.

It wasn't a "mistake" it was with intent and deliberate actions.
