driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a valid license

    Isnt it Ironic

a politician finally gets into a wreck with an DRUNK ILLEGAL ALIEN

more than likely he was injuried (The Politician)

and more than likely that ILLEGAL ALIEN did not have INSURANCE

was the politician a Open Border Democrat or a Free Trade Open Border RINO Republican

if either.. they will get no prayer from me

as Forrest Gump would say Stuff Happens

The only thing different with my situation and the congressman is that my illegal, non-licensed at fault accident causer ran away.

The police did not charge him with leaving the scene, just no license and following too close. The cop was Hispanic.

I can't believe this has not happened more often to Congress, but they do spend a great deal of time in Washington. When I was there last, a lot of road building was going on, and there were absolutely no Hispanic workers on the road projects. They are probably very careful in hiring in Washington DC because of security and all employees have to be verified. My husband and I were shocked to see only white and black road crews, because although it is illegal to hire illegals in GA to work on public projects, the law is ignored and the law has no teeth.

I'm stunned they asked him for Identification! Didn't the responding officers get the memo that "When an encounter with a hispanic occurs the regular rules of enforcement are to be suspended so as to avoid charges of racial profiling?" I thought Obama sent that memo out nationwide. MALDEF, La Raza, et al are going to be so MAD!

It's a bit early for me to be getting this SARCASTIC!

    State Rep

In Texas, my family was involved in 2 wrecks in one year. Both at fault drivers were Spanish speaking. One was driving with no license, insurance, and had lost his load on a major freeway. Accident report shows no ticket issued to that driver.
Second driver was driving her daddy's car. No license and the
student" was listed as an "EXCLUDED DRIVER" on daddy's policy. That means the insurance company does not pay if the excluded driver causes a wreck and daddy can not be held liable. Fortunately, we have uninsured motorist protection, but still had to eat the deductible for car repairs. The Dept. of Public Safety assured us that the "student" would never get a driver's license, unless she repaid our insurance company. Now that is strong punishment for someone who does not use a license, isn't it?
For too long the Latinos have been allowed to violate any law they choose, without penalty. Driving drunk should be a FELONY and driving with no insurance gets mandatory jail time. Twice driving with no license or insurance gets a 25,000.00 fine
I am getting really tired of obeying laws that cost me thousands of dollars when others get off for little or nothing for not obeying the law.

The suspect, 27-year-old Isaias Naranjo, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a valid license. According the report, when told of the serious charges he would be facing, he just laughed.
It was just a matter of time until the very traitors who have implemented these sanctuary polices, became a victim themselves of those very policies. Problem is, millions of Americans have been victimized all along!

Of course this arrogant- punk invader was laughing! He knows damn well nothing is going to happen to him!!! Especially with all the pandering politicians who have sold out this country to of these criminal invaders and the gropus which advocate on their behalf!

These are the people this administration wants to give amnesty to!

i would simply point out that you should be more clear in what you mean ...i think we all understand that your talking about illegal immigrats and not every hispanic person in america , but you need to use the term illegal and not latino ..

Car Crash Involving Mass. Lawmaker, Suspected Illegal Immigrant Heats Up Debate

    FOXNews.com

The immigration debate is heating up in Massachusetts after a suspected illegal immigrant allegedly crashed into a state lawmaker's car while driving drunk last week.

MyFoxBoston obtained police reports that show suspect Isaias Naranjo was arrested after crashing into state Rep. Mike Moran's car at 60 miles per hour and then bragging to police that they couldn't punish him.

According to the report, the suspect "just laughed, slurring that he was going to go back to 'my country' Mexico. 'Nothing is going to happen to me, man.'"

Though the suspect is being held after his blood alcohol content registered at .25, Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio told FoxNews.com that state policy prohibits police from looking into the suspect's immigration status.

That's after Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick rescinded an order three years ago by his predecessor Mitt Romney that empowered state police to enforce immigration law.

Republican State Rep. Jeffrey Perry said the governor should reconsider that decision in light of the accident -- and he said the crash should also bring renewed attention to a measure he sponsored that would prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits.

"I feel sad that there had to be a car accident for this to happen," Perry told FoxNews.com.

Perry's benefits proposal was narrowly defeated in the Massachusetts House several weeks ago, but he said voter "pressure" could drive the Senate to reconsider.

"Massachusetts is just kind of ignoring the problem," said Perry, who is running for Congress.

Massachusetts is one of a host of states considering new immigration proposals after Arizona's legislature approved a controversial policy in April requiring state law enforcement to check the immigration status of people they suspect of being in the country illegally. The proposal has divided lawmakers across the country -- some have moved to impose boycotts on Arizona in protest of the law, while others have pledged to draft bills that replicate the law.

In the case of Naranjo, the suspect was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and leaving the scene of an accident, according to MyFoxBoston.

Patrick's aides defended the governor's decision to rescind Romney's immigration order, saying corrections officials can still pursue the immigration violation, according to MyFoxBoston.
