LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - More than two million dollars worth of cocaine is off the streets thanks to Border Patrol.

The Laredo sector Border Patrol confiscated over 400 pounds of drugs last week.

Agents rounded up cocaine and marijuana at different checkpoints with the help of canine officers.

The biggest bust taking place was near Freer where officials booked a man carrying 20 bundles of cocaine worth more than 1.5 million dollars.

Border Patrol also rescued more than a dozen undocumented immigrants.
Two at an island near Rio Bravo and 11 inside a trailer.

Border Patrol agents turned most of the cases over to the DEA.
