I registered and posted. Took all of 3 minutes for my post to show up.
"Ooooh, ooooh! Janet, pick me!" I'll wager I haven't a snowball's chance in hades of getting my query answered. She won't touch it with a "ten foot pole", but I sure hope she reads it...
Go post, folks! It is a way to at least show others what you think!

If you have a question, please send it to erivers@usatoday.com
What would you like to ask the secretary of Homeland Security?
The Department of Homeland Security is charged with a wide range of responsibilities, from protecting the country against terrorism to dealing with a massive swine flu outbreak to handling natural disasters such as hurricanes.
USA TODAY's editorial board will interview Secretary Janet Napolitano on Tuesday and would like to include some of your questions.
We've gotten a lot of queries on the important topic of immigration and would like to add some on the department's many other duties.
If you have a question, please send it to erivers@usatoday.com .
Video of the interview will be posted tomorrow on USA TODAY's Opinion blog, at blogs.usatoday.com/oped, and Facebook page.

in regard to the questions that will be asked of the DHS Secretary on Tuesday, I hope that the questions aren't "softball" easy questions that really wont deal with the many issued and many questions that have been place on your webite blog section.
This women needs to face the TOUGH questions asked by many americans who are just completely dumbfounded by her actions since taking the position.
I hope that the USA people picking the questions will understand that amercans want answers to the strong questions and dont cave in to the administration by continuing the stupid softball questions.

Guess what fellow ALIPACERS. I just got an e-mail from Web content editor for USA TODAY's Editorial Page, Eileen Rivers. Apparently, my question on illegal immigrantion has been selected as "one of several considered for the interview."
I posted question under thomas67. I guess the question is still there. She wants me to call her today to get permission to use my name, city and state for the interview.
