Good for us April! At least we know one of the questions is legitimate! Anyway, I asked the editor if Janet Napolitano is going to be given the questions before hand or if her first exposure to the questions will be during the interview. Waiting for the reply....

Thanks for the quick response and great question. No, she is not given the questions ahead of time. We don't even know what questions we're going to ask her during the taped Q&A session until we see the questions that readers send, and then filter through them to try to choose the most well-written and interesting ones. We try to choose a variety of topics and ask the questions as close to what the reader has sent as possible. Thanks again for your submission.

They kept the initial response page where your question was asked... They seemed to tire of the illegal immigration questions and sought "broader" questions via a new page. The initial comments were virtually all about Americans being pi**ed off about her permitting rampant illegal immigration. The second iteration appears headed down the same path.

Congrats! Your question is well written and poignant. Bite with politeness! I demands answers. I CAN'T WAIT to see her reply if your question is actually used!

My question had a lead in basically asking "Janet, what will you do to stop illegal aliens from burying axes into the heads of American children?" Oh well, there is always next time.
