Just voted and it felt really good....think I will do it again.

instead of importing cheap nurses why don't we pay our nurses a real salary so we can create incentive for our kids to go into this field? all i hear is how teachers are making poverty wages (in northern ill they make very respectable wages for proof go to http://www.thechampion.org/teacher/cgi-bin/teacher.pl). in the area i live, teachers top out near $100, 000 (sad to say in other very close districts higher) but a nurse will top out at $55000 after 10++ years experience ( as of a little over a year ago) foreign nurses, from what i have witnessed, tend have poor English skills (not in every case) which increases medication errors.... don't get me started!

i'm not saying teachers don't earn or aren't worth their wage. i am saying nurses are worth more then they are currently (in this county) being paid. and importing cheap labor is once again not the solution.
