We are simply stating our views on obtaining an ID and that everybody can get an ID or get help to get an ID...or they ARE EXEMPT in extreme cases where they cannot. But you do not want to hear that.

Now you are talking about forgotten people? There are plenty of Senior Centers and resources available for those who need help to get an ID or anything else they may need. No they are not forgotten...we have people in positions that will help them. That is simply false that people are forgotten.

If people do not have Photo ID...there are resources to go get one or help to get one. They refuse to get one, their choice. A lot of things you CANNOT do without ID and voting should be one of them, or you get exemption if you are unable to.

If I do not have ID to fly on a plane because I CHOOSE not to get one...then I will not be permitted on the plane.

So you were referring to 70 year olds at the polling booths in a state like Texas where 70 year olds plus are not required to have a photo ID to vote.

When Voter ID Law passes...everyone will be required to have an ID who is eligible to vote whether they are 17 or 70.

Yes, and those who think it is a hassle or are inconvenienced by getting an ID or do not want to pay a nominal fee for one can sure line up down the street and around the block when it is FREE.

We are not asking people to finance an ID card and go into extreme debt over it...LOL!

My...how they find the time and their way to make it a priority to get the FREE stuff, no hassle there...

See it isn't about taking the time to go get the ID to vote...it is about not WANTING to go pay for one. Because surely if it was a requirement to vote and they get it FREE...then, yes, they will go get it.

Voting is a right, medical care is not. Medical care is a business, if a doctor or hospital wants to require a Photo ID of some type for some reason before they render a service or treatment, they are free to do so.
