Watching Condi on Fox and guess the problem isn't that Russia did something......they just felt it was too severe. Even though the area has been in turmoil for over a decade.....and probably already tried "peaceful" measures that haven't worked......they still felt it was too severe and the "World group" could be brought in to try and solve the differences without such severe action. So much for being a soviergn nation if the World has to step in to tell you what to do.

Once again Bush shows that he cares for everyone but Americans and we'll once again pay for somebody elses incompetence. What advantage is there to being a citizen of this country?

crazybird, yes the invasion should be considered as too severe, but I really feel that this is not going to be where the Russians stop. How many countries have they invaded after the end of WWII, after the Yalta conference handed them a lot of countries to "protect" and rather than handing back their sovereignty, so many became SSR's? Then there was their grab of Hungary in 1956, and their attempted takeover of Afghanistan later.

Did anyone see the FOX report with the 12 year old girl and her realitive who was sitting in a restraunt in Georgia when the Bombs came...she said they were bombed by Georgian troops not Russian, they escaped, got out of Georgia and got a flight back to the U.S. where the girl is from...she was there visiting realitives...

The lady said I know you don't want to hear this but I am going to get the truth out about what happen and the President of Georgia needs to stop down, he bombed his own people. This was a Live report

All of this was the Cold war.

The Cold War is over.

And even during the Cold War we never minded when Russia cracked down on neighboring countries. Why should we butt in now? Now that the conflict is over, why should we be even more belicose than we were when Russia was our primary enemy?

None of our Damn Business ... we are not the Worlds 911 ... matter of fact.... were so damn broke I am sure Russia and China are laughing at us ... what do we borrow 2 Billion a month from China for the so called war on Terror... phttt ... please!!!!
