North Carolina passes Sustainable Communities Task Force legislation
Posted on July 19, 2010 by Admin
The North Carolina General Assembly recently passed legislation establishing a Sustainable Communities Task Force within the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. North Carolina is now the latest state to recognize the connections between cross-agency governance at the state level, coordination with stakeholders at the local level, and sustainable communities on the ground.Rotunda Room, originally uploaded by dtraleigh.

There are 100s I could post, but I know "ICLEI"(International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) changes their name whenever the Pubic Finds out what they are doing.

I WILL REPORT BACK WITH ANY SIGN OF TERMS "SMART" OR "SUSTAINABLE".

I AM GOOD FOR NOW. YOU BETTER CHECK YOURS.
I attended the Meeting and I would recommend looking into starting with your County Board of Commissions If you don't live in a Big City. Although "Agenda 21" was voted down back in Aug. 2012 in Cleveland County NC, North Carolina is one of the 31 States to be APPROVED FOR AGENDA 21, SO IT WILL JUST SIT THERE UNTIL TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES IN WHICH IN WILL BE APPROVED IN ORDER TO BE AWARDED GRANTS TO IMPLEMENT AGENDA 21, SO I WILL KEEP CHECKING. IT WILL REAR ITS UGLY HEAD AND I WILL PASS THE INFORMATION TO THOSE SMARTER THAN I.
MY COUNTY COMMISSIONS AGENDA August 2012
Mr. Mooney thanked the Board of Commissioners for their
ongoing support of the Cleveland

sense that they were hit hard during the economic downturn but they did what was necessary to “keep
afloat”. He encouraged Commissioners to support this project to help
Cleveland Yutaka grow in this
community.
Hearing no other comments, Chairman Hutchins closed the public hearing.
