Jeremiah Wright declares that Yahweh and Allah are the same God. He also implies that America worships a different god, that is, Satan. This is a fundamental belief of Black Liberation theology, that America and its institutions, such as the Constitution, are a tool of Satan and must be destroyed. Whites are equated to the Antichrist. A black messiah or messiahs, who will be of flesh and blood, are prophesied to arise to destroy white society and America, as we have known it, and the traditional (white) church.

Arabic speaking Christians also refer to God as Allah. However, they often use a circumlocution to avoid using the same word as the Moslems.
