John Conyers III., the son and appointed successor of John Conyers’ Jr., the disgraced Democratic politician who announced his resignation on Tuesday, is a former attempted rapper who bragged that his friends are drug dealers and his dad “is a f***ing player.”

The son’s brief rap career included lyrical gems such as “My n***as turn grams into grands” and “Ay f**k making a living bro, I’m trying to make history/So picture me letting the news nit-pick at me.”

The aspiring artist also rapped about some of the challenges he’s had to live through, such as when his mother, former Detroit councilwoman Monica Conyers, was sentenced to three years in jail for taking bribes, or when Conyers Jr. had to repay the U.S. Treasury for Conyers III’s misuse of a taxpayer-fundedCadillac Escalade.

Most of Conyers III’s brief rap career appears to have taken place between 2012 and 2013.

Conyers III raised eyebrows in 2010 when he described his father, who is now accused of being a sexual predator, as a “f***ing player” on Twitter.
“My dad is a f***ing player and reckless as hell! He just got at this doods wife super low-key,” the congressman’s son tweeted.

Conyers Jr. is expected to be replaced either by his son, Conyers III., or by his great-nephew, state Sen. Ian Conyers, who announced he will run for the open seat.

Conyers Jr. was under intense pressure to resign following the flood of sexual harassment allegations against him.

Sworn affidavits signed by four of his former staffers describe Conyers Jr. as a serial sexual harasser who preyed on his female staffers and demanded sexual favors from them. He also allegedly abused taxpayer resources to pursue sexual relationships with women.

Conyers paid off one former staffer with more than $27,000 in taxpayer funds in exchange for her silence, after she accused him of sexually harassing and then firing her for rebuffing his sexual advances. He has denied all wrongdoing.

Over the weekend, a coalition of Michigan Democrats, local religious leaders and activists held a rally in support of Conyers Jr., whom California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier has described as a “predator.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, after initially defending Conyers Jr. as an “icon,” followed other Democrats’ lead in calling on the 88-year-old congressman to step down last week.

Months after its corrupt mayor gets charged with serious crimes, one major city’s council is being federally investigated for accepting bribes from a company in exchange for approval of a lucrative multi million-dollar contract.

It wasn’t enough that Detroit’s scandal-plagued mayor (Kwame Kilpatrick) made headlines earlier this year for lying under oath to cover an extramarital affair with a city employee during a police whistleblower trial last year that cost taxpayers millions to settle. A 12-count indictment charges Kilpatrick, whose tenure has been infested with corruption, with perjury, obstruction of justice and misconduct in office.


Now several members of the Detroit City Council are suspected of taking bribes to approve a $47 million contract last fall with a Houston company to handle sludge waste from the city’s wastewater treatment plant. The FBI has electronic surveillance evidence of City Council President Pro Tem Monica Conyers taking bribes from the company, Synagro Technologies.

I'm telling you all, Conyers isn't the only one. Every single one of these LOSERS who support illegal immigration, illegal aliens and amnesty are on the take with the drug cartels. Without open borders and illegal aliens to run the drugs in, run their operations in the states, collect the money and haul it back out of the country, their industry is dead. Conyers’ Son, Handpicked Successor Was Previously Arrested for Domestic Assault

The son of outgoing Democratic Congressman John Conyers (Mich.) was arrested earlier this year on suspicion of domestic assault, records show.

In Los Angeles earlier this year, the younger Conyers, 27, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after his girlfriend called the police, NBC reports.

Conyers' girlfriend claimed that after she confronted him for cheating, he "body slammed her on the bed and then on the floor where he pinned her down and spit on her." When she tried to call police, she said he took a knife and swung it at her.

The elder Conyers resigned Tuesday after he was accused by multiple former staffers of sexual abuse and harassment. In his resignation speech, the Michigan Democrat endorsed his son to fill the open seat.

"I have a great family here and especially in my oldest boy, John Conyers, III, who incidentally I endorse to replace me in my seat in Congress, so we're all working together to make this country a better one," he said.

The outgoing congressman's son has never run for public office. His Facebook page indicates he attended New York University and Morehouse College in Atlanta and identifies him as managing partner at EIA Alpha Partners Fund Management, based in Detroit. The agency didn't immediately respond to a request from NBC for comment.

Following his arrest on Feb. 15, Conyers was released the same day in lieu of $50,000 bond. He claimed his girlfriend was on drugs and she attacked him with the knife, cutting herself in the process.
In the end, prosecutors decided it "could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the victim’s injury was not accidentally sustained" and declined to bring charges.
