No, it's just a fact you should think about every time you want to treat someone involved in an accident differently because they smoked a joint last weekend or had a beer with their lunch. Accidents are accidents. Sure, the super drunk person is dangerous and can easily cause an accident, but every day more accidents are caused by cold sober distracted and aggressive drivers than by drunks and pot smokers.

So the loss is no big deal to you as long as it is not the major cause. Some accidents are caused by unforeseen failures such as a tire blowing out. But even then, the alertness of the driver can save the day. Near Palm Springs, on the 10 Freeway, a bus driver rearended a stopped truck. He apparently was sleepy and didn't notice the truck. IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT! But if he was alert, it wouldn't have happened. Most accidents involving vehicles are mistakes made by one person or the other. Some people develop skills so they can avoid the mistakes of other drivers. These ones may go their whole life not having an accident. Then there are others who are constantly getting in accidents. Lack of skill, distraction, even drugs make them a danger.
You are so eager to accept the weak link as the standard. Like I said in another thread, if they are on their own property and cannot harm another, drug your mind out. But if they have access to vehicles or an opportunity to harm someone else, they must have their rights restricted.

I'm not worried about it, not one bit. I will never walk out of my house, get in the car and be worried for 1 second about a possible pot smoker on the road. I used to own a business and it's obvious as hell to any manager if someone's impaired by drugs or liquor, and you send them home. See if drugs were a problem in the work place, there would be separate studies but it isn't so they lump them in with the drinkers. The biggest hazard of alcohol in the work place are the drunk executives cutting deals with Mexico and China to relocate their operations and close the plant.
Stay focused on the big stuff that really matters. Weed doesn't matter. Jobs, Trade, Immigration, FairTax and Peace. That's what matters. Our country isn't going to hell in a hand basket because of cannabis, it's going to hell in a hand basket because of lack of good jobs, trade deficits, illegal immigration, massive legal immigration, income taxes and foreign wars that never end due to the actions of the same people who ban recreational drugs. They were wrong on all the others, so why think they're right on drugs? Nope, they were wrong all the way down the line because they're CROOKS AND IDIOTS.

"What, Me worry?" You probably won't see them coming.
You notice that after they run over another employee with the fork lift? If you notice it, them it obviously has impaired them. So you send them out to drive home killing someone else on their way. But you won't chalk that up as a death due to pot. It will be AN ACCIDENT!

We've fixed the War on Weed. It's over. It's history. States that want it will pass it. They will regulate it. Any issues they'll deal with, as it should be. States that don't want it for whatever reason, won't pass it. Whatever, they're choice. God Bless Donald Trump and Corey Gardner!!
Dang, what a day!!! What a week!! So much good stuff is happening, it's hard to keep up with it all.

You paint it anyway you want, but Sen. Corey Gardner is still a scumbag for holding up Trump nominees to the DOJ over the pot issue. Furthermore, Trump sunk a little lower in my eyes for giving in to Gardner's threats and demands. Trump and Play-Doh seem to have a lot of similar qualities ..... there both easy to manipulate.

The pot issue is a huge issue, far bigger than a bunch of nominees to the DOJ. The pot issue affects the freedom and lives of millions and millions of Americans, the pot issue is a huge state and local law enforcement cost with absolutely no benefits to warrant the expense, the pot issue is an enormous civil rights issue related to race because of the disproportionate arrests and incarcerations of blacks when compared to all other race groups. Legalizing weed solves all of those huge problems for our citizens, states and communities. And that's before we even get to the money, businesses, taxes and other financial and economic benefits, let alone the benefits to crime reduction by tightening the noose on the foreign cartels and reducing illegal immigration. The benefits of Trump's decision are monumental and irrefutable.
While Democrats are excited about a "blue wave" in November to win power, I and many other Republicans are excited about a "legal pot wave" to correct inequities and solve problems for our people to move our country forward. By doing the right thing, who knows what other "wave" will result from it. We'll find out on election day in November.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

Boredom?
Attempt to influence others?
Argumentative personality?
Fear of being proven wrong?
Failure to accept facts for fact even when they are provided?
Interest in healthy (and sometimes unhealthy) debate?
Anger?
Time consumer while waiting for "Tucker Carlson Tonight" or "The Walking Dead" to come on?
Too much coffee and free time?
I don't know. Maybe one of the above or something else. Choose your poison.
