For the record, I'm not attempting to shove McCain or anyone else down your throat.

Just looking at the two largest influences in John McCain's life; i.e., Lyndsey Graham and Joe Lieberman... Those two never leave McCain's side.. That alone should tell you McCain is a liar.. he sold out his POW buddies and he will sell you out. The man has not one honest or courageous bone in his body.

I'm voting Chuck Baldwin. I, with many others here, will tell the republican party that we are finished with them. The only voice we have remaining is out vote. I gave up on the Demos a long time ago..

Third party is the only way I see out of this if we want the madness to stop. Otherwise we are continueing the feed the monster and will be caught in this vicious circle. I understand my candidate may not win this time, but to give him 5% of the vote will qualify him for Govt funding later. I'm banking on the future.

McCain or Obama, choose your poison. One of them will be sitting in the White House after the elections and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it. Unfortunately, praying and hoping for a third party candidate is a futile effort that will bring you nothing but heartache and despair.

Personally, I'm choosing to play defense in this game. I will vote for McCain/Palin knowing that McCain will not serve eight years as President of the United States. If Obama is elected, we could very well be stuck with him for eight years. Furthermore, I honestly believe Obama will be the more dangerous of the two.

Look, I'm not condemning those of you who choose to go the third party route, so please show me the same respect and quit implying that I'm a blind ignorant fool for deciding to vote McCain/Palin. Those of us who have decided to vote McCain/Palin honestly feel like we're doing the right thing for the country. How come we have to be wrong and you right?

I've still yet to figure out why McCain/Palin get two to three times the heat Obama does around here, especially considering the fact that he (Obama) seems to have the advantage right now.
We're just trying to change the lessor of two evils mentality that the msm began shoving down our throats since Nixon/McGovern when they tested the waters and won. Now most people vote this way and it has gotten out of hand. Its time to make a stand and if more people did so there would be a different result. According to Ron Paul only 16% of the registered voters actually elect the president. That leaves the rest that could vote for a third party and have a landslide election, that is if Diebold is not already pre-programed for the winner! However, its hard to teach an old dog new tricks or get people to see the big picture when they have done things the same way for years. That's why I talk about banging our heads against the wall over and over expecting a different result....that to me is what a vote for the lessor of two evils is just another head ache except this one may involve a brain tumor.....

Reason to vote for McCain: He's a turd, but not as stinky & messy as Obama.
Reason to vote for Obama: He will destroy the USA faster than McCain, so maybe the stupid Americans will get off their butts & do the right thing, for a change. If there's still a Democratic Republic left, which I strongly doubt.

Me, I'm voting for BALDWIN. That way, I can still look myself in mirror, come what may.

BTW, PLEASE take this Prez. poll at WND:

McCain is an arrogant lair who will tell his constituents what they want to hear in order to get elected. But once in he will do as HE wishes, just like Bush. For just one example, most pro-lifers are all starry-eyed now, because of his choice of running mate. But she is already being reined in to comply with his platform. Please read the following articles & share them with your friends. The first 2 concern people who are long-time pro-life conservatives with impeccable credentials & definitely NOT McCain's kind of people.

    Alan Keyes article:
    http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=74339

Phyllis Schlafly's response to McCain camp:
    http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar ... hides.html
It sounds to me like McCain is starting to prevent Palin from associating with anti-abortion groups.

Since the GOP convention made many speeches praising McCain's "honorable" behavior, it is worthwhile to note just some of many examples as to how loyal & honorable he is:
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/artic ... ehind.html
And here is a site dedicated to exposing his shameful record on many issues, particularly regarding POWs:
    http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/
which includes this heart-rending video clip (try NOT to cry with this lady):

Of course, I will NOT vote for the abomination Obama. I will vote for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party, who has an excellent stance on conservative issues. His web site is:
    http://www.baldwin08.com/
I recommend that you check him out.

In fact, here are 2 articles about why NOT voting for either mainstream candidate is really the RIGHT thing to do:

    Facts count.

Any vote not for McCain is a vote for Obama.

    Facts count.

In fact could be that Obama and his ACORN crooks are posters here on this board, sowing the words that move people to vote not for Obama, but for some one else as that is just as good for Obama and his radical commie deal, the results are the same, Obama wins and America gets a new improved commie constitution.

You can keep preaching that to me but I'm not listenting. Any vote for either of these crooks is a waisted vote. If you always do what you've always done you'll get what you've always gotten. You do what you want and I'll do what I want and it will be what it is. I'm not going to give in and give up my country however. There's no way to predict the future especially if you are going by the msm polls to make your dicision.

McCain is flailing about now. This economically ignorant man is now reduced to attacking Obama's shady ties, a tactic he pointedly said back in April he would not do.

Yet another "straight talk express" detour.
